Guess I missed that you have an 11 yr old dd. SO DO I!! You'd better be bringing her on the NEXT member cruise!! :)

Oh...but she's from "there"....KT may not play with her! HA HA HA :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I have an 11 dd, 19 dd, 20 ds & 21 dd The three older ones are in college - the 19 yo still lives at home and goes to the community college.

We are planning on bringing Deanna on the next Member Cruise, but she told me that she isn't too happy about missing a week of school - what is wrong with my kids :confused3 We're doing the 11 day in Sept and she said no way was she missing two weeks. I think it's the social aspect that she's afraid of missing :rotfl:

Well I had a first today! While at Deanna's soccer game I got stung on the finger by a bee. One of the mom's got the stinger out for me and it did swell up a little. Boy it hurts to get stung by a bee!!! :earseek:

My suggestion if everyone is up to sharing birthdays and anniversaries is to set up the photo gallery like what I'm doing for the May '06 cruise. Click on the link on my signature to see it.

I like how you have the photo gallery set up for your May cruise. I like the birthday and anniversaries all listed as well as the other info.

Just saying HI. My son Brandon's Birthday is October 22 and he will be nine. Sabrina's birthday just passed on Sept. 29 and she turned 5.
I hope everyone is doing well. I need to get going on my Scrapbooking soon I am behind two cruises and I hate getting behind..

Speaking of birthdays... Julia's 1st birthday was yesterday. It's so hard to believe she's one already!

I really need to get scrapbooking soon too! I just need some motivation to dive through this giant box of stuff I have....plus figure out which of the million pics I need to get printed.

I've been quiet lately, but I'm back now. It's been a bad week for me, lots of crazy stuff going on but Alex, my cat, got sick on Tuesday, apparently some sort of UTI with a blockage of some sort which can be fatal in cats? :confused3 He was at the vet hospital for 4 days, but came home this morning and he's going to be ok, but we were a little worried about the poor little guy.

Amy - my 11 yo dd is standing over my shoulder (we're getting ready to leave for a soccer game) she saw the picture of your daughters and said "Wow those are two really cute little girls, how did their mom get them both to smile at the same time." I don't have the heart to tell her that she would have gotten to meet them if we would have brought her on the cruise.
Awwww, how cute!! Tell her thanks, and the award for getting them both to smile goes to the photographer at Sears!!! :rotfl2:

OK, that is SO coincidental that you just said that. We just got home from the Buzz Lightyear birthday party at a friends house. And, Madison got stung on the nose by a wasp. Poor thing! All the big kids were doing a little craft project and Madison went over to the play set. She started to climb up and I noticed her waving her arm and a bug flying around her. Then, she started to cry and sent Chris over to see what was wrong. She started rubbing her eye, then we noticed that her nose started swelling a bit and had a little red dot in the center. We weren't sure if it was a bee or a wasp, so I did what my mom always taught me, if we weren't sure. Mix baking soda & water into a paste, and put it on the sting. If there's a stinger, when the paste dries, it will pull the stinger right out. Anyway, did that, gave her some Motrin and Benadryl and she was fine in about 10 minutes. Heck, by the time we left, the swelling went down and you couldn't even tell except for a tiny red dot on her teeny little nose.

At least you caught it in time. That actually happened to my mom's cat several years ago. One day, we just found him dead at the end of my bed, like he was sleeping. Turned out that he had a blockage (usually happens in younger male cats) and we just never noticed that he was having any problems. I'm glad that Alex is doing better.

It sure goes fast, doesn't it, Diana.

Mark, nice job on the framing. From what Coleen has told me ours will be similar I guess. Glad to see everyone still popping in on this thread too I am bad on names and I recognize most of these still!

Squid

Gail, sorry about the bee sting! I have to keep an epi pen with me when I am not right near the 'bulance. Got stung at the chicken BBQ a few year back and only went 50 yards before starting to wheeze. You bee careful okay :teeth:

Diana - Sorry to hear about your cat. I'm just glad he is ok.

:cake: :bday: Happy Birthday Julia!!! :bday: :cake:

Ouch on the bee/wasp stings. I got stung on my finger once and it blew up like a sausage!

Thanks for the nice comments on the framing job. I will say that was not an easy job to do. Having 2 years of drafting in my past helps a lot. What you basically do is layout the whole matting on the backside then make your cuts.

Amy, speaking of cats. We haven't seen Dongle in several days. No idea what happened to him. He was happy here. Maybe he got his strength back and decided to go home. :)

Thanks for all the Happy Birthdays to Julia! And keep those bees in your own states please, I'm allergic! :earseek:

Cindy...

A fair amount of times that I see people selling things out there I truly do not have ANY cash. I use my debit card or my Disney VISA so much that I rarely have cash actually ON me. A lot of those times I probably would buy a little something (for the kids) but I feel like they think I'm lying when I tell them I don't have any money. :(

Best of luck to Cameron on his sales. :)

I'm the same way. I use my debit card all the time but I always tell the kids I'll catch them on my way out and get cash back specifically for them. Annmarie
