My only bad experience was "volunteering" for the juggler's adult show. He talked to me beforehand and told me what to do when he "chose" me from the audience. I did exactly what he wanted me to do, but it made me look very much like a jerk trying to mess up his show. I was sure he would say afterwards to the audience that he told me to act like I did, but, unfortunately, he didn't. So if any of you saw me at that show, I assure you that I wasn't trying to screw up his act! I was doing what I was told. Anyway, I tried to keep a low profile after that.
Beth, great question at the Kevin Neary presentation about "Song of the South." ( I think you asked it). I hope Disney comes to its senses and puts it out to be seen again. It's hard to imagine them being ashamed of a multi-Oscar winner.
Oh, also, what's the big deal with room 8534? I'd like to know what that's all about and forgot to ask while on board.
Anyway, it was a pleasure cruising with you all! Maybe again in the future. Mediterranean, anyone?
Kevin
Kevin, I was at that juggling show, and I knew that he was yanking your chain. I thought you were priceless! and a great sport! Are you really a lawyer?
Yes, that was me asking the question about Song of the South. I so loved that movie as a child and wish my kids could enjoy it. Some day, maybe.
8534 is the room Tim and I had originally booked for this cruise. It was the one our mothers had on our West Coast cruise last year, so we decided to stay with it. It's one of the larger 1-br because it is just off the mid-ships elevators, so it's perfect for our family of 5. However, we were offered the opportunity to go with a Cat 2 and took it.

We've been in the Walt Suite several times as well as in a Cat 3 a couple times, but we'd never stayed in the 2. Now that we have, my husband is relieved that I'm willing to stay in a 2 or a 1, not just wanting the 1 and suffering with anything else.

Anyway, my thing with 8534 was that we had it originally and gave it up at least four months ago, but it was still available (or maybe re-available?) just a few weeks out when Cindy (rellyrooly) upgraded to that stateroom.
We heard about the brown water problem from the concierge. We weren't in our room when it happened, so didn't suffer any of the negatives so many others did. I did hear a lot of fussing about the ship about it...and quite an earful from the family in the stateroom next to us...the mom was NOT a happy camper!
Liam, our youngest, has been sick with a yucky chest since Thursday. We just assumed it was his allergies kicking his asthma into play. I had an inhaler with me, but never thought to bring the breathing machine and nebulizer (the boys all have trouble with asthma, but none so serious that we need to travel with that). Now that I'm hearing about how so many were sick, maybe it's a bug. Either way, it's off to the pediatrician tomorrow as we are likely looking at an ear infection in the making.
We've rebooked as well for Dec 22, 2007. DH is planning on changing it once the 2008 dates become available, though. The boys and I want to do Christmas on the ship, so the game is on! We decided the Mediterranean cruises were cool, but we want to spend more time in Europe than the cruise would allow, and if we did the cuise, we couldn't afford to do Europe the way we want to for the boys.
I didn't get to meet too many of ya'll, but hope everyone had as awesome a time as we did. All 5 of us agree it was our best cruise yet.
