Nice Upgrade!!!

I was actually in that cabin alot last year! My very good friends always book that cabin...I may have to take a picture of the door for her...so if you see me stalking the door, that is why!

Yeah, we are excited! We actually had cat. 3 booked originally but then downgraded to cat 5 thinking we should save the money. But after packing, we realized that we have to many bags and being that it is a 7 day this time, we really could use the room. sooooo, when this opened up this morning, we just couldn't resist. I hope it's worth the extra $$$$! BTW, you are more than welcome to stalk us! LOL. I may even let ya in.....lol

I had many beverages in that suite! Fun times...*sniff* I tried to get her to come this year, but she couldn't take her kids out!

Yeah! Our shirts came yesterday!! I have the day off to pack while DS is in school and DH is at work. Also a little 'me' time to get a pedicure!

But, I have one dilema - should I pack the new (slightly tight) jeans, or the old comfy jeans? The new ones look pretty good but the old ones would be way more relaxing - especially after a buffet! Which ones should I bring????

As for getting together, the last I heard is we are meeting on Deck 10 for sailaway. You can't miss us - we'll be in the green shirts!

OK, for everyone that is still working -- IT'S TIME TO GO HOME, PACK AND GET ON THE ROAD!!!

Just wanted to let you guys know that we just changed our cabin from #7558 to #8534. David, could you make the change in the roll call for us? Also, if you want to find me to give me the bracelets, you can now fine me there. Thanks so much!

That's really interesting....that is the suite we originally booked in June 2005 for this trip. Our mothers were with us then, and we decided we liked their suite, so we booked it. However, we got a call probably 4 or 5 months ago to see if we wanted to upgrade to a 2BR, and we jumped at the chance. We've been in everything from a cat 5 up, except a 2, so there you go! We're now in 8516 up the hall from you.

I just wonder what happened that 8534 was open several months ago and just came open again...it seems unlikely that it would be open all this long.

Pack the comfy jeans! After 2 or 3 days on the ship..tight jeans won't fit!
Plus...who wants to be on vacation and be in tight jeans!! RELAX!! IT'S THE CARIBBEAN!!

I am SO looking forward to getting on the ship! I have way too much to do to get to that point but once we get there I know the stress will fade away!

I have a few more hours to get ready and then we drive to the airport this evening - we have a very early flight tomorrow morning so we are staying near the airport tonight.

I wish safe travels to you all! It is so hard to believe that the countdown is almost over!

My stomach is in knots! So much to do and I'm trying to race through work items so it won't be a mess when I return. At least my toes are done. I'm very unprofessional today. I'm a bit casual and have flip flops on so the pedicure wasn't in vein!

Serious anxiety but very excited ! It seems so much has been done in preparation and now it's finally here .

My DH gave me that talk about how its supposed to be a vacation and we aren't going to run ourselves crazy trying to do it all. Hmmm, does anyone else do that ? Can't wait to see what I can pile into 7 nights of fun !

Just fininshing packing. I am only packing for 5 days and will do laundry half way thru. To many of us, and not enough luggage to pack for a full 7 days. This time tomorrow we will be on the road. We are driving from Nashville.

Hi All. Getting ready to START packing now. Think I have all the laundry finally finished. I can procratinate with the best of them and will rally all night now.
We are driving as well. DH just reminded me to be aware of Gainesville traffic as the Gators are playing at home on Sat. Just a heads up for all the other drivers coming down 75. We are in Athens so we are well aware of how football game day traffic can affect things. It pretty much shuts things down on Fri/Sat for game days here.

There is nothing I would have loved better! We had many a cocktail in our suite and da Beano suite. Fun, fun times 'tis true!

You all are lucky to be sailing with Betsy. She is fun. Ask her if she's been a "good girl". Save up, girlie, we're cruisin' together again in '08!

Its official i cant sleep!!!!!!!!!!! Keep thinking of last minute things that need to be done. 1 last trip to walmart, odds and ends in the suitcase, pack car and leave.

Maybe I will sleep while my DH drives.
