Sept. 28th, 2008 - Oct. 2nd, 2008 * Wonder 4 Night *

Looks like we are right down the hall from one another (6558 and we are 6530). And we also have a DS12. Looking forward to meeting you, and hoping the boys might hit it off and be able to 'hang out' a bit.

See ya real soon!!!:goodvibes

dino mom- thanks for the list. Just wanted to let everyone know that the two adults and 2 boys ages 6 and 4 that are under tommyboy88 are actually us, lisagirl88. My brother on his first post had added us in, but now that I joined the thread we can be separate. You have us on the list, so we can just delete the 2 adults, 2 boys under tommyboy88. Thanks!!!!

One other small correction to Jesters count. In SR 6528, there are two boys, one age 3 and one age 4. All other info is good. Thanks for getting this all together. I am still collecting things for the FE, but am anxious to get some final counts so I know how much to bring.

Can't believe it is so close now!:cool1:

Thanks for the info!! I updated the confirmed FE list. Any more info?? Some we still need FE numbers for...

1 month until we go :cheer2:

Nice job dino mom. I think I counted 60 that time through, which is perfect since that's how many FE gifts I put together last weekend. No worries, I have extras just in case, 60 just sounded like a good number at the time.

Wow, only 1 month to go!

Hi neighbour! :cool1:

Is your son keen on going to the Oceaneer's lab? Because I have DS15 as well, DS12 says he only wants to go to the teen program. I think he is too young, I'm sure I read somewhere that kids could be 12 yrs and 11 mths and attend the teen program. But he will be 12yrs and 10mths. If your son is going to visit the Oceaneer's program then maybe he will be happy to go with someone else.

I will be on this cruise and I would love to do something like this if it wasn't my honeymoon. It sounds fun. Maybe next time.

Sorry, Just wanted to let you know we are backing out of the FE. I was under the impression when I signed up that it was going to be gifts for the kids. I would not have any idea what to buy for family gifts.

zackksmom-

I just wanted to let you know that I am doing VERY simple gifts for each family, but am still doing gifts for the kids too! Is anyone else also doing small gifts for kids or just family gifts?

I felt like this was mostly for the kids, too. I was planning on probably more kid-oriented "stuff."

Everything I purchased is really kid oriented...I just happened to over-buy, so there are leftovers for the grown-ups. I'd say if you want to buy for the kids, then that's what you should do. I'm sure none of us "grown-ups" will miss out. I'm just in it for the fun.

We bought gifts before it was decided what type of gifts. So right now I have a bunch of things for kids.......but still thinking of something cool that everyone could enjoy.

PS We got upgraded to a cat 9 too!! Don't have the cabin #s handy right now, but will post them for the master list.

I have bought gifts that represent a little bit of Australia and I believe they will be enjoyed by all ages. As we have families with no kids and families with kids of all ages it would be too hard to try and appeal to a specific age group.

If you do a search on gifts exchanged by previous cruisers you can see the range of non-age specific gifts. Some gifts are wonderfully creative and can be shared by the whole family. They really are just tokens representing the fun we have all had on this forum sharing our preparations and excitement and enjoying the cruise together!

Make it simple - even if you just give a postcard of your home town!

I have had a lot of fun planning and putting together my gifts and am certainly not concerned about what I get in return and I'm sure my kids will love tracking down the rooms to leave the gifts!

OK I've updated the list. Could everyone confirm/add your details if you are participating in the gift exchange? I will PM the people I don't hear from next week and give a final list after that.

We have 24 families (33 kids) :cool1: but there will be more who might turn up to the meet who are not participating in the FE!:woohoo:

We have our cabin number 2015! Alas we also did not get an upgrade. I will try not to take it personally and attribute it to the fact that there are only 3 of us. I am so excited that the cruise is less than a month away. We are flying in the day before and staying in a Fort Wilderness Cabin. We have never stayed there before. We will be staying at the WDW Swan for 3 nights after the cruise and will also be attending MNSSHP on the night we get off the cruise. It will be our third year at MNSSHP, but hopefully our daughter, who will be 5, will be able to stay awake for the parade this year. My daughter will be bringing her "Elizabeth" costume for pirate night. I can guarantee that I will be donning pirate gear, but I'm not sure about my husband. My daughter is also bringing her "Wendy" costume to get her picture taken with Wendy and Peter Pan. I ordered a personalized embroidered pillow case with Wendy on it from the same lady I got our fish extender from on ebay!:flower3:

Hi All, Just wanted to update with my cabin #s.

We are in 2014 and 2016.

Now that we are in September, it really feels like the time is counting down!
