I think kellieb71 might have been referring to the shore excursions and activity goodies etc.:) I was able to book the harbour tour in Nassau but the basic Historic City Tour is gone and the one with the gardens overlaps with the harbour tour. So I think we will just book our own city tour when we get there.

In regards to the fish extender gifts I think we are going with one gift per family and you can leave it on any day you want and I think we are looking at meeting before the life boat drill.

So is it official? We will each do one night for each family?

I know you put the list together before (THANKS!:goodvibes ), but maybe we need everyone to re-enlist, so to speak, so we know which cabins have kids and which do not. And we'll need cabin numbers as well.

I'll start with my info:

cabin 6530: me, DH, DS12 & DD9 (2 adults, 2 kids)

cabin 6528: Dsis, Dbil, Dnephew4 and Dnephew3 (2 adults, 2 little kids)

cabin 6522: Dmom, Dbrother, and DS21 (3 adults)

We are three cabins, but all three of us will be participating in the FE and all three of us will bring and deliver gifts for the exchange. I am trying to purchase the FE's on ebay, since I don't think I'll have the time to make them.

It will be here before we know it!

Great idea! I'll make a final list in September to give everyone enough time to get their gifts together. We are leaving Australia on the 20th so we will need to finalise numbers before that.

Hello all. I can't believe it is coming up so soon! :cool1: I have been really busy so I haven't been on so much. We are all paid off and have a reservation at Palo's for the last night although once we get our rotation we might cancel it if we are in Animator's Palate. We aren't doing any DCL excursions. This is our first DCL cruise so we are doing the laid back aproach to soak it all in. I hate overscheduling in advance anyway. I think we are going to do Atlantis though. My DH really wants to go.

I wanted to know if anyone plans on dressing up for pirate night? I see on the boards that kids and even some adults do. I don't think my husband and I would but I think my 7yr old dd would love to dress up like a pirate pirate:

I just wanted to check back in... I did not mention before that we are in a category 12 GTY, so we do not have a cabin number yet. There are 3 of us in our cabin: DH, 37, DD, 5 & me, 38. We are excited about the fish extenders. We have recruited 3 more cabins of relatives, but I do not think they will be doing FEs. My cousin is traveling with her 23 month old twin girls...so she will have her hands full! I will be sure to update our cabin number as soon as we get it. We are booked on the morning Blue Lagoon Dolphin Encounter.

Finally remembered to look at our stateroom number...2086. Now I still need to get a FE, man I wish I was more crafty. I am unsure about whether we will be able to meet up for the DIS meet & greet since we won't have our flight plans until I believe a month before. We are taking a risk of flying in the day of, but I'm sure Disney knows what they are doing.

See you all very soon!

Tim & Ashley

I did not mention before that we are in a category 12 GTY, so we do not have a cabin number yet.

so that puts us at 7 of 13 available Cat 12's, just with us DISers.

Hopefully we all get upgrades or else we will all be in cabins around each other:thumbsup2

There have got to be some upgrades coming...there is no way that DISer's are the only folks wise enough to go for the CAT 12 GTY!!! I think I remember somebody posting that there was availability in CAT 12 after my relatives booked their cabins (at which time the lowest cat available was CAT 10. Do you know how many CAT 11 staterooms there are? If we do get upgraded, is it likely to a CAT 11 or is there a possibility of something higher?

I'm not sure how many Cat 11's there are but could probably figure it out if I took the time to count them:thumbsup2

On previous cruises a lot of people tended to get put into Cat 9's:confused3

That would be great but I'm not counting on anything.

Hello Everyone!

I do not know for sure if we will be on this cruise or not.
We are currently booked on the Magic double dip leaving the day before...but for quite a few reasons we are beginning to think we may not be able to do that cruise. If we can't make that one work....we'll be hopping on board this cruise!:thumbsup2

Well, gang...as pay-in-full date has come and gone I guess it is safe to say we won't be sailing with you.

We will still be sailing the same time as you as we kept our room on the Magic.

Hope you all have a wonderful cruise!!! Since we will be heading out of CC when you all will be heading into Nassau, maybe we will be two ships passing in the night!

Take Care,

Hello every one!! Just thought I'd pop across and say hi as we will be sailing on this cruise:goodvibes
It will be me (44)
DH (43)
Ds (11)
DD (5)

This is our very first cruise and our first trip as a family OS (from Australia).:woohoo: As this cruise is on the end of a month long holiday, I dont feel able to do the FE (sorry). Already so stressed about trying to get organised and how I am going to fit everything in! Would never have thought of a cruise until our TA suggested it might be a good way to end the hol as the kids can be looked after and we can do a bit of relaxing!! I really have no idea what to expect!:rotfl:

So far have booked dinner at Palos (8.30 on Nassau day) but am worried I will miss Pirate night with the kids and a stone massage on Sea day at 4.30-5.45 but am worried I will not have time to make early dinner seating and get dressed for formal night and possibly miss the celebration thingy by the kids!!
So I seemm to have got very confused already:confused:

All very exciting!!!

Two months from this date I will be flying on my way to Orlando:goodvibes

Welcome aboard Aussiegirl.

Try not to stress so much.

I don't think that Pirate night is on Nassau night anyways.

I believe that it is usually on Castaway Cay night:thumbsup2

The stone massage thing will most likely be a problem for making first dinner seating.

Those seatings are at 5:30, 5:45 and 6:00 pm I believe.

Cruisin - make that 8 of 13. We are a cat 12 also.
I'm trying not to get my upgrade hope too high,
but the math is on our side.

I've yet to commit to the FE.
Does anyone know, are they easy to make?

Wow, that's interesting how so many of the CAT 12's are taken up by DISer's.

It will be fun to see how many of us, if any, receive upgrades

Oh yeah......... and.......

TWO MONTHS

until we sail

:dance3:
