First time we have been to WDW this time of year for quite some time (it was our 12th visit) and I know why we stopped going, it was so humid!!!

Our main purpose for the visit was the Food and Wine Festival, well actually it was to see Richard Marx in concert (6 shows, over 2 days, Mon & Tues) at the Eat To The Beat series at EPCOT and we had a blast! great shows. :thumbsup2

Parked for EPCOT and Hollywood at The Boardwalk and so saved $36 in parking!

Also fitted in half day at Hollywood Studios and a day at the MK (1 Oct) for the Halloween Party which was excellent. We had no idea that people dressed up so superbly at this party! No real dramas, got on most rides we wanted, especially at MK where wait times had a max of 10 mins shown but in fact we got on everything in about 5mins or less.

Plenty of shopping although choice (even from March this year) was limited so suitcases still had plenty of room in at check-in!

Will post some pics when I can. Went with Virgin as usual and everything went smooth apart from a terrible rental car, same model as we had in March but so badly prepared, my fault really as I did not check when I collected as I was feeling a bit under the weather when I arrived, it worked OK but glad I was not going far! (Virgin are changing from Dollar to Alamo next year so we shall see).

Oh, apart from no longer being able to use the Exec Lounge near gate 81 as it has changed to Delta Lounge. Very funny actually as we went up to the desk and the man asked for our boarding passes and he said to his co-worker "oh they are in economy!" before he realised we had Virgin tickets, not Delta!!

Richard Marx fans extraordinaire! 6 concerts in 2 days!! Did you fit some food and wine tastings in between?

Be watching for the pictures.

Great photos. You either were right at the stage edge (or on the stage) or you have a lens a stalker would be proud to have.

We had come a long way to see him so a couple of front rows needed to be had! Never more than 5 rows from the front although I did move further back on one occasion to get better shots.

He was well worth the trip alone but with the Food & Wine and Halloween it was all good!

These days cameras like the Panasonic TZ7 (ZS3 in the US) which has x12 zoom and records movies in HD it could be the only camera you need for your holiday.

I posted back in March (11th trip not 10th sorry!) that we wanted to spend our 25th year at WDW but maybe the actual anniversary would be in Italy.

Well things have changed! We are spending the actual date (May) in Las Vegas!!!! KJ is a big Donny fan and although we have been to the Flamingo to see the Donny & Marie show last year she wants to go again, so it's all booked, 10 days. Karen has relatives who live in LV, so popping in to see them as well as they came to our wedding (all those years ago!)

However, all is not lost, we are coming back to WDW in early Dec so we will get our fix of Disney again! Not sure about hotel yet but fancy the Buena Vista Palace (we love Downtown) anyone stayed there?
