Okay, all you guys seem to be leaning heavily towards CANADA!!! Having NOT eaten there before, I will go with the majority recommendation. :teeth: Besides, I have eaten at both the others already... PLUS, I think we plan on hitting the Animal Kingdom buffet too. Hmmm I wonder if I have enough elastic in my pants? :confused3 I wonder if I should pack sweat pants too? :rotfl2:

The Cheddar Soup is really good there in Canada... and if your culinary horizons are kinda on the broad side then you should like Boma as well.

Weather Update

As of 5:00 p.m. EST - September 19, 2005

We are currently monitoring Tropical Storm Rita very closely.

The latest predictions from the National Weather Service indicate the storm will travel between Key West and the northern edge of Cuba on its way into the Gulf of Mexico. At this time, we do not anticipate any changes in the upcoming voyages of the Disney Wonder or the Disney Magic.

The Disney Magic is currently enjoying a modified itinerary in the western Caribbean, and the Disney Wonder is on a 4-night sailing in the Bahamas.

The safety and security of our guests is always our top priority. If necessary, our Captains are always prepared to alter the ships courses or itinerary to navigate away from inclement weather.

Do you think we may end up in the Eastern Caribbean If the west gets hit hard?
Not that shopping in St Thomas isn't one of my favorite things, but I wonder how they will work the excursions. I'm a worrier... sorry.

Folks,

This will be my last post before the cruise. We are in full hurricane prep and packing at the same time. We will look for you all in Parrot Cay around lunch. Pray that we are able to even leave Friday AM. DW and I are contemptating driving at this point leaving Wednesday AM. This would disrupt our after cruise plans however because we would have to leave Orlando earlier to get home in time for me to get back to work.

Rita is playing severe havoc with our plans. Please pray for us as we are currently right on the predicted path.

Larry - Oh man, I'm so sorry all this is happening to you all. Please be careful in whatever you decide to do. We'll be looking for you in Parrot Cay! Thinking of you and your family.

Larry, I can totally relate to your situation. Hope you can get everything done that you need to. Where are supposed to be flying out of? Can you move up your flight plans by a couple of days? Just be aware(if you decide to drive), I'm not sure of the hotel/motel situation in our area, still lots of Ms, LA ecacuees filling up our local hotels. If you need me to check on something in the Mobile area (that should be about halfway) let me know. We'll all be praying that Rita weakens and doesn't do terrible damage to those in her path. :grouphug:

Hi Dennis,

In case you check this board before your dinner in Canada at Epcot, here is the exact thing to not miss.

:wizard: - cheddar cheese soup (really, no kidding)
:wizard: - fillet minion with the garlic mashed potatos (Didi had this and says it's to die for. I had a sirloin and felt almost as passionate about my choice. So it appears the idea is they understand steak.)

How can steak be so incredibly great? I don't know, but it was.

Smooth travels,

Bill

Remember the song at the end of the Carol Burnett show? She pretended like she was mopping. And she had a handkerchief on her head? And she sang a song something like this........."I'm so glad we had this time ....together." ? etc. etc. etc.
That is the theme of this thread tonight. Dennis and Larry are both leaving.

Sing it Carol Burnett! You go, girl!!!!!!!! :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

And what about that cowboy song. "Happy trails to you...........until we meet again!"

Well ... not sure if this is my last post (probably not) ... will see what else remains ...

Larry ~ HH&BG - Be careful, whatever plan you choose ...

Bill & PrincessO ~ Cheddar Cheese Soup! I hear you ... BEEF? Well, okay then... :rolleyes1

Julie ~ It's PrincessO with the overweight bags.. :rotfl2:

PrincessO ~ I'm worried to if we go to St Thomas!!! TOO MANY jewelry stores there for Chrystina  That was where I "talked" her into waiting before she bought a ring... when we came back ~ GONE!!! That cost me in more ways than $$$ :rotfl2:

Becky ~ See ya Friday at 1:00pm ... :teeth:

And just so nobody forgets ... :hourglass

Larry,

Best of luck...

Dennis--Happy and safe travels to you. I agree with the menu suggestionsabove. Might I suggest the choclate moose for dessert? It's REALLY good too :)

Dennis and Larry,

Praying for travel mercies for both your families. Keep safe, til we meet again.

Enjoy your meal at OH Canada!!! I'm telling you the soup is beyond words. I'm drooling just thinking about it. What's for dinner, beef..... get that meat into you. Medium rare is just fine. It melts in your mouth. I don't remember when I had such an outstanding meal in Disney before going to Canada. I'm really wishing I was going to Disney World right now. Thank goodness I have the receipe for the soup.

This crazy lady has to sign off for now. By the way Dennis just for ole times, expect to lose and lose big. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: ;)

Didi :grouphug: :wizard:

Okay, totally off topic, today our moose (uh, I mean mutt) is 4 months old, weighing in around 19lbs (she was 6lbs when we got her at six weeks). Here is a updated pic. She isn't very photogenic though!

Gotta go check on the kids in the tub!

I'm helping Patrick with his math, he's doing word problems. Here's one for all of you.

Didi had 10 brain cells. Didi has been packing for a Disney Cruise for two weeks. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: Didi has lost 1.5 brain cells every day she has packed. :faint: How many brain cells does Didi have left? :confused3 How many Kamikaze's does Didi have to drink in order to get her brain cells back? :confused3 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Deanna, this one is for you!!! I know you won't let anyone win the prize!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Didi :drinking1

What do you mean, she isn't very photogenic? She's beautiful! :dog:

Bye, again, Dennis! Bye, Larry! Be safe. :wave2:

Erin,

Lilo is sooooo cute. Won't you miss her a bit when you're on the cruise? Hope you have someone to take care of her and love her while you are away.

Back to the math....

Didi :wizard:

No, Didi. This question is not for me. Math makes me sweat. That is why I am in the dental world. You only have to learn to count to 32. (that is how many teeth are in the mouth) So as much as I hate it, I must let someone else win the moose lemonade on this one! Good luck, somebody! :sunny:
