I've never been to the Canada pavillion at Epcot, but I could probably make a guess that they use Alberta beef. That's why it's so tender. If you guys stopped tipping cows down there, maybe the beef would'nt be so tough.

Deanna, Dennis, it's almost sad that some folks are starting to leave! I'll miss all the chatter here! Dennis, have a great Pre-vacation! Deanna, we plan to be at the port very early, and will be ready to board as soon as DCL lets us. We will probably plan on eating at Parrot Cay as soon as we board and hope to run into as many of you there as possible. I think that I'm going to let the girls wear their swimsuits under their clothes. That way we can get in the Mickey pool as soon as possible before it gets terribly crowded. Lets plan to meet just before the sailaway party somewhere (just in case we miss each other at Parrot Cay). I know that Briley is anxious to meet Carissa ASAP. Holland also wants to meet the other kids, especially Chantel (since they have been writing back and forth). I think the 1:00 thing sounds fine, but I need to try to change to early dining, and get my spa appointment changed to a different time if at all possible(and I think all of that starts at 1:00, anyone know?). So we will try to eat as soon as we board. Do you have any running around to do? Let me know about your plans.

Hi all,

Here's my experience re: Parrot Cay....when you arrive at the entry to PC, 2 CMs will be there to direct guests up to Topsiders. When we asked to sit in PC, they stated the line in the restaurant could be long. We said that would be fine, and they let us in...btw, the restaurant was practically empty. Basically, it seems that they want as many people as possible to go to Topsiders, but you can do PC if you want....

This may have changed, but that was our experience....

So, just to clarify, we are meeting at port and at PC, right?

I'm sure I'll miss some of my thoughts but:

Ingrid - Congratulations on the wedding. Glad you had a lovely time and now on to the next fun time.

I realize no one is up right now except me. I woke up at 4AM dreaming that I was going to be late for this cruise. I do hope I can change my sleeping habits while on the cruise.

Early at PC is fine with me. I expect we could be there by 1PM, if I know David, he'll get us rolling. Great idea about the bathing suit under the clothes for Patrick. The little water dog will be happy that he can be in the pool.

I haven't made the coffee yet so I better get moving and grooving....

We are leaving the hotel at 10:30 should be there around 11, will have name tags on. Don't have any running but do plan on hitting the pool after the lunch might check out the club with DD when its not crouded yet. I too have early dinner thinking I might just change right after the fire drill. Then go up to the Disney Sail Away Party,

Anyone know if deck 9 or 10 better for the party? any suggections?

Good morning! I hate to say this, but I am starting to feel the crud coming on. My nose is stopped up, I'm coughing, I think I'm going to call my doc., and see if she'll call me in some just in case medicine. She'll probably want to see me before I leave. I'll just have to tell her that I cannot fit her into my tight packing schedule! I've got to drop Addison at preschool this morning, and then meet up with Holland's class at the Hospital, for their tour. And guess what, since Holland was going to be out of town next week her teacher moved their Pirate party to Friday, so that Holland wouldn't miss. Guess who is the room mother and has to be at the party? Yep, while I need to be franticly packing last minute items, I'll be with Holland's class at Sewer Bay (oops, I mean Mobile Bay!). Oh well, that just means that all packing needs to be done by Thursday night.

Deanna, lets all pick a spot for the sail away party in advance. I think that will help anyone who misses the lunch meet. That way we will have one more opportunity to make sure we can find each other. I would also like to know which dining rotation that you all end up with. If Keri and I are not successful moving to early seating, than maybe we can at least be on the same rotatipn with you all. I guess you will know when you get your KTTW cards at the terminal, so maybe I can find you then. Well I need to go get ready for another marathon day. Field trip, last minute target items, girl scouts, and soccer game! Talk to you all tonight!

So, is everyone else glued to the Weather Channel? What do you think DCL will do if we can't go to Key West on Sunday? Would they send us to Castaway Cay on Sunday instead? Or, do you think it would be another day at sea? Rita is a category 1 Hurricane but I'm wondering about the amount of rain and if Key West will have some flooding and not be "ready" for visitors.

So jealous of those who have started their journey to Mickey. I STILL have not finished packing and our new digital camera still hasn't arrived by FedEx. I'm told that I wasn't home to sign for it on 9/17 yet the FedEx guy never left a note that he was here. We also signed some paper giving them authority to leave a package if we're not here and they gave us a sticker to put on our front door to that effect. Apparently, that does no good. And Fed Ex can't give me a good answer as to why they haven't retried the delivery on the 18th or 19th. All this service for $14!

OK, last load of wash today, hem DS's pants, and mail bills that don't take electronic payments. Buy cat food, litter and, hopefully, get time to do my pedicure.

This vacation business sure is hard work!!!!!
