Sorry to be away, I have been keeping up on the tread though. Seems like the closer we get the more stressed and caotic it gets.

Erin: Hope you get something to kick that cold in the but.

If I'm not too late Safe travels Dennis and Larry :grouphug:

Can't wait to leave Friday. SOO much still to do. Back to school night tonight, pluss 2 more practices for DD's sports. Last minute laundry to do and of course PACKING!!!!! You all know what I will be doing Thursday Night. Now Molly wants to go to a High school Volleyball game since her assistant coach is playing......aaahhhhhh

Erin and Deanna: DD's are already saying "we want to go to the pool ASAP" we did the suites under the clothes last time and it worked well. Maybe we can make that our 2nd DIS stop after lunch.
I'm jealous all your DD's and DS's are getting to know each other pre cruise. I really want my DD's to meet all of the other kids and get to know them, I know they will all have a great time together.

We have our Pedicures Wednesday night and DD's last practice that night soo after that its ALL CRUISE time.

We have been glued to the Weather channel too. Hope everyone in its path stays safe.
I'm wondering too where they will take us if we can't get to Key West???

Travel Mercies for Everyone.

Well back to work.

HI All,

I'm sure I'm too late for Dennis & Larry but have a good trip & see you soon!

Erin: Feel better!!

fourfoxesinpa: I can empathize with your FedEx trials. Good Luck!

Julie: My rechargable batteries lasted pretty long when new, but now they seem to be dying FAST. I've gotta do something.

Very crazy getting all the chores down, BUT IT WILL ALL BE WORTH IT!!

Take care,

Back later.

David

I'm just sitting here at work wishing I was Dennis, or anyone else who is getting to leave NOW!! :cloud9:

Hi All! It just read the last 11 pages of posts. Exactly what I need to be doing with so much other stuff to do, right?? Anyway, just wanted to check in. We leave early Thursday morning. I'm in the middle of packing. Had to get DH off on his business trip this morning. He should be back tomorrow night and will do final last minute packing then because he took the garment bag with him. Also trying to coordinate sod being delivered, and put down, and having additional irrigation installed before we leave. It was all supposed to have been finished this weekend, but of course that didn't happen as planned. Now I'm off to drop Baylee off at the grandparents' again. My MIL offerred last week to keep her one night this week which was very convenient since I have just started packing. So will be packing my little heart out tonight, and I will also try to find time to get the nails and toes done as well.

Hey Erin,
I wanted to mention to you that Chantel received Holland's last message, but things have been so crazy around here she has'nt an the opportunity to reply. But please let Holland know that Chantel did indeed read it. She is so much looking forward to meeting Holland.

Afternoon everyone! Hope everyone who hasn't already headed down to the House o' Mouse is doing well (or at least feeling better).

As if I needed something ELSE to get pumped about -- I recently made the acquaintence of a gentleman who claims to be an aerial photographer in the Orlando area. He sent me a picture just now that I think is worth sharing with you fine DISers. Just look underneath the Nemo crew in the sig.

Just think -- in just a few days we'll be some of those little little specks running around on board the ship! :goodvibes :rotfl:

"One of the best places to watch your ship's progress is from deck 10 forward, near the Wide World Of Sports courts. Or visit Deck 9 forward to watch the bridge crew on the wing."

I vote for meeting on Deck 10 (Deck nine is in the thick of things and gets quite crowded). The sail away party only lasts for 30 minutes starting between 4:30 /4:45. Why don't we all plan to meet there again; wearing our Mickey head name tags! What does everyone think?

I'm concerned I won't make it to PC before you all head to the pool since my plane doesn't land until 10AM. I don't think I'll be boarding until 12 or 1PM and want to get my boys signed up for the kids programs first. So it'd be great to have another meet time again during the sail away party! :teeth:

Is everyone going to wear their Mickey heads all day? :earsboy: I think this would be great so we can come across those we may have missed at earlier meet times. :earsgirl: Whatcha think?

Elf out... ;)

We also like to enjoy the party from deck10. DD's are usually down on Deck9 where we can watch them. Way too crowded down there for me.
I know some Disers want to be on Deck9 with there kiddo's so I don't know what does everyone thats left think??

Great Photo.....I can't WAIT!!!!

New Come welcome abroad!!

I am for the second meet on deck 10 think less people will easier for DD.

I will wear my disney head all day don't know about DD.

chefmur- Hi there! Welcome - won't be long now!!!!

I think we will try to stay on Deck 10 as well. It is a zoo down there in the thick of it. Both kids didn't like it in the big crowd and loud, loud music. That's just my kids, though. Tons of kids seemed to be having a great time down there. I guess I'll see you some of you on deck 10 then! :goodvibes

Great picture, Uncle Servo! :)

Chefmur - Don't know how much you've read of the amazingly long thread... but to sum it up we are all going to meet at Parrot Cay restaurant (if they (Disney staff) tell you it's busy - just say you want to go anyway) around 1PM ish on Sat. If ya miss that they'll be another meet at the sail away party on Deck 10 (tenative till all votes are in-check back again) between 4:30 - 4:45 running 1/2 hr.

To find all us crazy loons  - just look for the Home Depot Mickey Head Paint chips pinned to our chests!! :earsboy: We'll each write our screen name on the tag! Should be a blast!

Welcome and look forward to meeting you! :flower:

Christine
elf out... (I know, I know, I'M the only one who thinks thats cute! :rotfl: )

Deck 10 sounds great to me! My kids will see plenty of the characters the rest of the week, we don't have to be up close and personal the whole time!

Partyelf, did you know that you can register your kids online at Disneycruise.com ahead of time? That might save you some time when you get on the ship.

Gotta pick up Briley and get to her soccer game!

Welcome, chefmur! Always good to see more fellow Alabamians coming on the cruise!

Hi chefmur. I am fairly new as well. I have a DD8 so I'm sure we'll run into each other. I am very excited!!

It looks like Key West got spared and the worst went south. Good news.

Don't make fun of me. I am so excited to be going on this cruise but does anyone love Desperate Housewives like I do. We will most likely miss the season premier on Sunday. Bummer.

Let's see this time next week we'll be in Grand Cayman!!!

Julie- what kind of sandals does Kino's make? Are they all leather? Do they come in colors..... like pink?

Actually... I think ABC is one of the TV channels carried on the ship. It's owned by Disney -- go figure. :rotfl:

Yes, that is exciting thanks for the reminder. I would rather see a great show on the ship, BUT if it's not so good that night I might just be found in my room with a cool drink toasting to the new season of D.H.! If anyone is interested I'd love company!!

Of course, one could always smuggle a VCR on board and try to record it... but as I've never tried it myself I can't vouch for how well it'd work... :teeth:
