Cheryl,
80 degrees sounds like heaven. It is 44 degrees here and expected to be in the lower 30's this week at night and then Wed and Thurs in the 60's, go figure. Heck it is only 68 in my house right now and I am freezing. I need to start cleaning to get warm again. lol
Rie,
Sounds like you have been busy. Oh how I remember my PTO days where I was the only one who would do the bookfair and other things. The fun of counting money and keeping a record of all the books ordered when the shelves were out of the book they wanted. I don't do PTO since DS went into Jr. High because that school is way to screwed up for me to even consider it. High school is next year so I will join PTO again at that time. Glad to see you too have another trip coming up. Now I can be jealous of you too. lol
Christine,
Sorry to hear about your unemployment. It's bad out there when it comes to finding jobs. Actually, we just had an add in our local paper for a pre-school teacher but I am sure you don't want to move to Illinois for a job and especially in corn country where I live. No after school programs out here, sadly and we need one. I will sent tons of pixie dust that you find a job soon.
As for the AP, this was my first year that I bought one and was dissapointed that AAA rate was better than the AP rate offered. This year I didn't bother to renew. I will get a 9 or 10 day base pass for our trip next year and decide then if I want to upgrade to AP with that pass but I doubt I will bother.
Who knows if the economy effects Disney with less reservations next year we may see the old AP discounts come back. I was surprised when they offered free dining outside of when they normally offer it this year to Disney Visa holders.
Nicole,
How the heck do you keep it all in your head without forgetting things? I use a calender on my desk and the really important things I put in my cell phone so it rings an hour before to remind me. Without those things nothing would get done. Anyway, it is so nice to see you posting again.
Nancy,
Glad to hear you have an assistant so you can still take your trip.
Linda,
Yum moldy peanut butter cookies just what I always crave late at night. lol What is this about your thinking citibank will go under? Don't say that they are our mortgage company and all I need is the mortgage being lost somewhere with nowhere to send the payment. Then again, hmmm, could they hold it against me if there is nowhere to send the mortgage payment? lol
For Halloween DS bought himself a scream costume with the bloody mask. Now he is trying to convince me to buy him the bloody knife that goes with it. Instead I bought him a colonial man costume but he said he will only wear it to school since he can't dress as anything scary there and he still wants the bloody knife. lol Unless he remembers to bring his money with him when we go to the store he won't get his knife. I could also be mean mom and tell him I won't take him into town to trick or treat but then I could see him running away to walk the 7+ miles to town then.
