Sept. 2009 @ WDW! Be a Pop Tart 2009~come share your(Bounce Back or NOT)Dates !!!

SG,
So glad to see you up and running already.

From what I gather from DS the girl is a lot more involved than him. He says was only upset that she screamed at him in front of everyone but said he doesn't care if she likes him or not. He said when she sat by him on the bus today he was reading a book and ignored her. He is totally playing it cool. I hope he ends up like your DS and likes his car more than girls but he has liked girls since he was in pre K and they like him too so I am not counting on it.

Oh I have to say I love my croc mamoths they are nice and warm.

Ang

anybody taking advantage of that Buy 4 get 3 free ???:goodvibes

Last night was CiCis night for DS school and we decided to go (we never go...) after we got our food and sat down who should walk in but the girl who liked DS last year...apparently she still likes him cause there was all kinds of whispering, giggling, etc between her and her friends and DS was being obnoxious (his attempt to act cool.) :headache:

Linda, I am amazed to see you here one day after the surgery! You are pretty amazing though. ;)

Ang & Kristineamb, my heart goes out to you...I'm so glad the days of boys and girls interacting are long over..that's one time I'd not want to repeat with my son. What is it about girls calling boys constantly? Back in the dark ages, when I was a kid, girls never called boys.

Out phone would ring off the hook - then we went to DL for a much needed vacation from the calling ;) and wouldn't ya know - a convention of teenage girls at our hotel and they began calling our room!!

Thank you so much for all the good wishes for my visit to Boston. Had to postpone it it until Saturday - begining Wednesday Murphy's Law seemed to have a fall out here and at my friend's in Boston. No way I was flying out on the last flight last night - which had a 2 hour delay!! So, instead of JetBlue and the nice little TV to keep me happily occupied during the flight, SW will safely take me to Providence...then Lynne and I will hit the new ultra fancy Cinema in Foxboro for lunch and The Secret Life of Bees. ::yes::

Ants, no hope to use the latest Disney promo - I begin caring for Sophia full time Dec 1st so could not be away for a week - would have liked to go when the gift card was included though. :)

How about you? Anyone else book an extra trip using the promo? Hope someone found a fabulous savings!!

SG....yes, I do have a nice life and am blessed in many ways...though a job that provides even a tiny income, a savings account with more than my latest teeny unemployment deposit and maybe even a nice male companion might not be turned away. :rolleyes1 :lmao:

Have a great Friday everyone!! :thumbsup2

Gals, I tell you that the hardest part of the eye surgery was when they took off the coverings after the surgery. I think they had superglue on that stuff. Nearly took off my eyebrows and I have industrial strength ones. Minor discomfort the first day and has been getting better each day. My left/bad eye is now my better eye. Gee, wonder what will happen when they fix my good one? :cool1: No restrictions at all, the new surgery is much different from the older versions. My bestest pal went through two such through the years and her first one she could not do anything for six weeks, including leaning over. Technology rocks! Took longer to put the IV in than doing the procedure. I took my glasses off and was working "Commando" a bit ago. BTW, I did not tell Tom that I had no restrictions and took it easy the day of surgery. :rotfl: The meds caused me more problems than the surgery. I have not been computing much, until today, because the eye drops and such blur my vision but you guys are special and so worth the bit of extra effort.

What is a day worth without a bit of WIC in it?:confused3 How you doing gal?

M&N, Go for it gal! I like the fact that you want it all! I hope you get it all too.

Diva K and Ang, it is best to just listen and stay out of it when all these boy/girl things are going on. Whatever you say or do is wrong and if you have children like mine they will do the opposite any old way. I think of it as a way of learning who is right for you and who is not and how to handle situations. I never dated and greatly regret it. My dad had a shotgun and he would use it. Everyone in my family married the first person they met and all of us have had at least one divorce. Girls are more aggressive. Boys do not have much of a chance. :flower3:

Timmie, thank you for the kind messages. I just about fell out of bed when I saw that ad for the free nights last night. I did not quite understand it and thought it was for right now. I predict even better offers the coming year, for those of us who have cash to spend. I do, I do.

M2E, I love pink but I love chocolate even more and they do not show dirt either. How about a pair of each? You could even mix and match as the colors look great together. :yay:

I think I love him.
Janjandis, I just love that droll Canadian wit of yours. :)

I have leaves to take care of today or else my 80 year old neighbor will be out doing them. Doing it the easy way with my lawn mower bagger. I put the leaves on my garden so it deals with several problems easily. Lazy, I are.

Hi all. We're heading to the World in SEP 09. 2 Adults, 2 Kids, 8 Nights. On Site at Pop. Just started to plan it. Any good deals that I should know? Is free dining coming back then? HELP?
:)

:welcome:
Where in NW PA are you from? I am originally from Pittsburgh (Go Steelers!)
I booked the Bounce Back offer with free dining while I was there in September...don't know when or if it will be offered to the general public....
Check out this groovy Pop thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1991543

I was not sitting close enough to get an autograph. I do have some great photos.

Hi and welcome. The only discount out for that time now is a AAA discount. Past years they have come out with free dining plan to disney visa holders first and then the general public in the beginning of April so look for the offer then. Who knows what they will do though since they just came out with a pay for 4 get 3 nights free discount through the end of June.

Hi Christopher Robin, how are things in Hundred Acre Woods? Blustery, I bet. ;) I would not fret, with all the great offers coming out the end of this year and the economy getting nothing but worse for the foreseeable future I fear that there will be the most outrageously great deals for next year that we have ever seen. I hope I am wrong though as I would truly want a good economy for everyone more than a cheap vacation for me and even my friends.

Diva K, I might not be lazy but I sure have come up with some creative ways to get things done the past few years. I no longer rake, I mow. I am also the proud possessor of many cordless electric tools that make life a bit easier. I am thinking that the leaf blower would work nicely on the kitchen floor, what do you think? :lmao:

I used my cordless hedge trimmer to clean up many of the flower beds. I used my cordless leaf blower to 'sweep' the debris out to be mowed up and then I took the mulched stuff and put it on some of my flower beds so I will not have as much to weed next year BUT my favorite 'power tool' has to be an indoor one. It is my Shark sweeper. Until I found that lightweight and powerful cleaner I had to drag out the big one and find a plug every time a mess was made. Because of the Shark I love my family a bit more than I used to. :rotfl:

I have lung and heart problems so when I cannot breathe I tend to not be able to work as hard. I have heard that lack of breathing is the biggest cause of death. :lmao:   :dance3:

Next year I am getting a cordless weed whacker as I tend to throw up when I have to lean over a lot.

See what you have to look forward to?

Love these for cooler weather climes...not for Texas :sad2:
I would worry that the white liner would show the dirt more :surfweb:

Yes they do, Wic.
I have the pink ones, up here in Canada my toes were freezing in my Mickey crocs!! I say go with the pink but I buy pink everything!

SG,
Oh I have to say I love my croc mamoths they are nice and warm.

I found the perfect compomise on the whole pink or chocolate brown croc mammoths..... I'm buying myself a pair and getting BFF CymbalDiva a pair for her birthday/Christmas gift.

We bought a cordless weed whacker this past Spring. I love it.... LOVE IT!!! It is so much lighter than the gas powered one and doesn't vibrate at all. I can trim our entire fence line, sidewalk & Evie's swingset on one battery and I'm not worn out at all!!

JJ you going for the parade? Did you get another dream AP? No go for us:rotfl: \
I posted b4 & don't know what happened. Again, Linda glad you are doing well:love: Timmy,Ang, DDiva(whoever didn't post today, as my pea brain can only hold so much info) did anyone book 4/3 promo? Miss you.
Bonzo

KB-never forget you:grouphug:

M2E, the Crocks are pretty but I have to ask this. Crocks have holes to provide ventilation but these have a liner to keep your tootsie's warm? :flower3: Since I only wear REAL shoes when the snow flies I am not one to talk though. :) BTW, you are far too young to NEED such lightweight tools but I am glad you have them. The good thing about the battery powered ones is that you HAVE to take a break to recharge them. :cool1:

Jan, are you planning on printing out the David Cassidy picture and put it under your pillow? I would have done such when I were young but I did not have a pillow most of the time. Nor a blanket. Pity party please?

Hi ya Pooh, Bonz, KB, Ang, Minnie, Pooch and everyone else!

I have both eyes to care for today as I have to start prepping my right eye for Wednesday. I have an entire drawer of drugs now. Better life through chemistry.

SG

OMG! I love those crocs and MUST have them!!! Pink and Mickey's, what else could I want.
Bonz, I am going the 18th to 23 of Dec to meet up with my family. Are you going in Dec too?? Nope,no AP magic this year, lol! I was one boat away from winning the castle suite tho'!
Yo Cheryl, I don't see any pix yet?

Hi Everyone, I'm leaving for WDW on Sunday morning! :woohoo:

Timmy, how are we going to find each other on Sunday???? Our flight lands a little after 11:00 in the morning, not sure how long the ME is going to take to get us to SSR though. Do you just want me to call your cellphone when I get there???? :confused3
