I started packing last night.10 more days!!!

I wished I could start packing but... I know the kiddos would see the Mickey bags and know where we are going. I am going to pack Friday while they are at school. We are picking them up at school and then heading out. My DH wants to wait and tell them when we pick them up. I am back and forth on this idea. I would like to tell them at my 40th. Birthday party on Sunday.

Yeah! We are going to WDW! Makes turning 40 on Sunday a little easier to have our trip to look foward to!

i think i'll start packing today... got my whole house clean the past two days, and have soccer games tomorrow, need a last min walmart tirp tomorrow for last min supplies, then the girls have a dr apointment on monday, tuesday i'll finish packing, wednesday i'll get all my last min stuff done, thursday we pick up the van and start packing, friday we leave, i'm so excited!!!!

Oh my gosh you all are making me nervous I only have six days till we leave I need to get packing this weekend..

I've started cleaning the house and I won't be able to pack until next week. DH is a TN walking horse trainer and our annual 10 day Celebration is going on right now so DH is working his tail off, the last night of the Celebration is Sept 3 and we fly our first thing on the 4th. I can't wait. The kids are out of school, our school system shuts down while the Celebration is going on, so I'm sure I'll have lots more cleaning to do over the next week. Maybe the time will go by even faster.

This must be why i've been doing all this house cleaning, it makes time go by faster!!! I almost feel like i'm nesting again like when i was pregnant with my kids!!!! I'm almost to the point of scrubbing the floors to make them sparkel!!! LOL

It's now officially 3 weeks until we leave and I just can't wait Our flight leaves at 5:45am and DH is not thrilled about getting up so early...but who can sleep when we'll be heading to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Oh my gosh you all are making me nervous I only have six days till we leave I need to get packing this weekend..

Your post made me smile. We had been at camp and then I was trying to concentrate on getting ready for homeschool and realized there was only two weeks left. It made me nervous! The last few days I have been go over my notes I have saved and almost have finished our packing list for the six kids and us. As long as I have a well thought out packing list I should be fine. I hate being last minute under pressure and thinking I have forgotten something! My goal is to get the two little ones packed by early next week. I am sure I can find something to put them in until we leave. Pack everything else I can pack, we are driving from Maine to my husbands parents in Florida. We leave Sept. 9th and enter the Wilderness Lodge on Sept. 12th for 10 nights!!!!!!!!! My parents are meeting us in Florida and joining us.

The more I feel ready, the more excited I get! As far as the house.... well that seems to be able to be a mess in 10 minutes! So the last few days the kids will have to be on their best behavior. Lets just say our house is well lived in!

Oh and we wont be home till... well we don't know. My husband doesn't has to be back to work till Oct. 3rd!!! So Scoutsmom I think I had told you Sept. 28th, but I think that will be extended till Oct.2nd!!!!

By the way... as I said I am doing the packing list. Do we need to bring towels for the pool? I believe I read they have them at the pool? And what do you all do about wet bathing suits, I've heard differant things, what do you all feel is the best?(we will have 5 people in each room)
