Booked our flights and transfers through DCL this weeked $1850 from Boston, figured I wouldn't do much better or have the confidience in arriving at the right times.

We booked ours with DCL too......from Detroit $1800 for the 3 of us, with all the transfers, and 2 legs of the flight. I haven't been able to find anything close with my dummy flights yet.

Just a quick hello - I am hoping to book this cruise and am waiting for some quotes from TAs which hopefully will arrive tomorrow. I have just returned from a fantastic cruise on the Magic and should have re-booked on board - we debated and deliberated - and in the end we decided to wait. Of course, we arrived home in the dreary, cold, damp, miserable UK and immediately were struck down by Disney Withdrawal Syndrome, and regretted not re-booking another cruise while on board (and yes - all those DISers who advised me to re-book were right and I was sadly wrong - as per usual), so I have been back on line debating and deliberating over Med cruises and Transatlantic cruises and staterooms etc etc for the past 3 days. I am once again totally obsessed!

By the way I love the cruise title - we are crazy about Pirates of the Caribbean so it would be really amazing to be two of the WB Transatlantic Pirates.

I just got a job today!!! My first one in 15 years. I have been home with the kids doing the mom thing. It has been tough in this economy with no job history. The job is seasonal but, it's a start. Thank you Target! I have to pay off this trip somehow.

Did someone say "candy"? Where do I sign up? I love candy.

I was so happy to see my family added to the roll call. Thank you! I didn't see us on the gift exchange I just want to make sure we are signed up for that.

We are doing our air through DCL also. It's coming out to $680 pp with transfer. I don't think we will get a better rate than that on our own. We haven't called about hotel yet but, I don't think we will do that. For 8 pp that is going to be a lot of coin. DH and I have been to Barcelona so flying in the day of is OK for us. Hopefully DCL will offer day tour before we go to the ship.

Yes, that is her. I don't know which Disney cruise I met her on - it could have been the WBTA. I believe she was traveling with her neice.

The older I get, the more I forget . Maybe we should all wear name tags the first few days to help the memory

Yes, she was traveling with her husband and neice on the WBTA. And she was on the EBPC, so some others here may know her also. She is on a Magic cruise right now with the whole family. Her new user name is 1DisneyQueen. We cruised together on the Nov 06 Double Dip and then again for a 3 day in December 07. She's a good pal and I LOVE her sarcastic sense of humor. Some other folks from the 06 cruise have booked this one, but not posted yet. I think because they haven't TOLD their spouses yet...

I think laynards with names on them are in the plans.

Wow, go away for a few days and have a pile of posts to read!

I was wondering if there are any Disers that are going to Disneyland Paris prior to the cruise. We are going for a few days and can't wait.

On another note, to those that are adopting soldiers / sailors , thanks! My Brother just got home from Afghanistan and that's where I was the last few days, visiting him. He is in the Canadian Military. He actually was bombed and survived. Unfortunately not all of his reports did. Afghanistan should be the focus not the 'other' place.
