I remember what else I wanted to say - the dresses/gowns that everyone posted are just beautiful. I will definitely not fit in, but love looking at all of you. Totally Princesses!

I do not wear heels because if I did, I would be way too tall. I am 5'9" with flats. It is flats for me all the way!

Keep posting the dresses - loved them all! Just because I don't wear them, doesn't mean I don't like to look!!!:) Not only are the dresses beautiful, but so are the families.

Dear Miss Hoagie Pie!
You and I should get our photo together! I am also 5'9" and I don't usually wear a heel over 2" even that is very rarely. But, I will say....If I were 20 years younger......I'd be tottering around on those 4" heels until I broke my ankle! Actually DH is the same height as me barefoot, so unless he buys those flamingo dancer boots in Barcelona, it will be my regular shoes for me!
princess:princess: Here we are two princesses!

I have to share my cases?????:lmao:

Do you have to book that, or are you saying you have noted it on your plans for the day?

I found it very hard after the '08 WBPC. We had chatted for so long, and some fellow cruisers were able to just move on and never go on the thread again, but some of us were almost depressed. I think a lot depends on our individual nature. It really took me a long long time not to well up when I thought about it all and it being all over. Many of us just wanted it to happen again, and be just the same(though better because we had had a practice run;)), but that will never happen.

Getting to know new cruise friends is a great though!!!:dance3:

Right Michelle!!:thumbsup2

I never knew you went through that... :grouphug: Now get your butt back over to our thread... I'm lonely over there today... :rotfl:

I like the idea of door tagging. It is so much fun to do crazy things late at night. I would not mind being included in this activity.

I'll keep a list going and when I know better I'll get it organized... I think I'll bring about 5 magnets cause I think they went around about every 2 days or so...

....even some of us who never got to go in the end! :rolleyes1:thumbsup2

Sue - per the scrapbook - I find it tempting to do more pages but the cost can add up - so for my books - if I am doing a 12x12 I try to do a day per page of the trip and use 6-10 pictures on each page - getting the best of the best on the pages - then once I have the one done that I am going to print - I go back and modify it after I send it to be printed - and add in more pages for each day and save that as a PDF - which allows me to do it as a slide show or upload to places like facebook - it cuts down on the cost but some of my books are still big it seems - I do more collages and less space on the 12x12 books because of the higher price. Now for each of my kids I will convert the 12x12 into and 8x8 for their collection (half the price almost of a 12x12).

I put the price of the book into our trip cost - then it doesn't seem so much - especially when you consider the ease and how beautiful they come out.

Does anyone want me to bring my EBTA book with me?

Krisann

That is a really good idea! I think I may start big and then scale back to print... I like the idea of smaller books for the kids. I thought I was alone in making each their own - that is part of my problem with the non digital books... 3 per trip adds up!

I have an 8x8 from a family trip to Corolla NC if anyone wants to see it! Not Disney, but cute...

As I was laying on the couch, reading all the pages tonight, laughing, smiling, and talking to myself, my husband is convinced that after this cruise I will need therarpy because I will not have my "dis" friends. Has anyone thought of the impact Oct. 3rd is going to have????:sad2: I think I might need an intervention or something!!!! I have missed you all!

Connie... we're giving Chuck some stilts!! ;)

I wish I knew how to do these graphics - as it would be cool to have something special for those of us who did the EBTA and now the WBTA!

I guess I can try to come up with something in my digital scrapbooking stuff :)

if anyone who was on the EBTA and this cruise wants to see it when I get done and me email you the jpeg - let me know!

Krisann

Love to see how something like this turns out
What software do you all use?
Lyn

Connie - yes, I would love a picture of you and I. I tried on a pair of heels, really high heels and I was almost 6'2" - if I were 21 again maybe, but not now. It hurt to walk. 21, 6'2" all legs or 42, flat shoes with spanx! Guess which one I am! :rotfl2::rotfl::laughing:

I tried to sign up for a Cook and Taste class but they are full. I'm there for 5 days and the only availability they had was Friday 9/17 at 5 but that is when we are doing our Dis meet at the Hardrock. I was really hoping to do this class because it has such great reviews. I was also a little disappointed with their email response time. I still haven't received a response to my last email more than a week ago asking about wait-lists. :confused3

I hope you have better luck than I've had. Let me know if they are more responsive to your requests.

You are hilarious! I can tell you are a princess all the way!

1DisneyQueen did PM me earlier today with the additional DIS names of her group. Originally there were 6 people all listed under her name, I think...but today she contacted me and said that two shoudl be under poohluvsfigment and two should be under copasmile----so those 6 people are all travelling together but have their own DIS names and they are in at least two (maybe 3) separate rooms.

They can correct me if I'm wrong about any of that :thumbsup2

Hey, ERIK, are you in charge of all these lists?!? My heart goes out to you! Anyway, I redid our rollcall. I put us on late dining and I put YES for FE gift lists. I thought I sent a photo of the 3 of us, but I can send another if I forgot please let me know!:grouphug:

Great to hear Becky is settled in her new flat. I had my email account hacked recently and all my contacts started getting "viagra" emails :scared1: from me ( including airlines, DCL etc which was a worry) In the end I didn't know how to stop it so I just cancelled that email address and took out a new one. A real pain in the backside.:mad: Hope you get it stopped.

Thanks Sarah, that's exactly what's happened to me! At the moment Mark has done some spy checking at work and has changed my password but not the account as I use it for so much!:guilty:

woooooo hoooooo I am really chuffed with my latest Ebay find

..... I have a really lovely Per Una dress which I love and when I bought it I bought a size 12 in the vague hope that by the time of this cruise I would be a size 12. I am now resigned to the fact that this dress will NOT fit me by 10 weeks from now ... and I was gutted.

So luckily enough I found the same dress, brand new on Ebay, in a bigger size, and I won the auction :cheer2::cheer2:

So if it fits me better than the very tight, with a 2 inch gap at the zip, size 12version, I will keep the new one and re-sell the size 12. :woohoo:

Well done! that sounds great!:cool1:

Any other OCPD (obsessive compulsive planning disorder) folk out there, here is the link for the menu and such for the Hard Rock Cafe in Barcelona

http://www.hardrock.com/locations/c...=41&MIBEnumID=3&src=homepage_locationdropdown

Drats, no pricing though.

Been to the Hard Rock in Barcelona; they have live music most evenings. :rockband: I don't remember what time it starts but I suggest we get to know each other while we can still hear each other!

We're flying out of Orlando on the 6th on American with a stop at JFK.

All this talk of air schedules has me terrified. :scared1: We try never to use cruiseline air but because we just booked recently and I'm really busy, we went with DCL air from Washington Dulles (IAD) on the 15th. Half of our booking is on DVC points so all contact has to go through them. :sad1: They said that we won't have an air schedule 'til 30 days before we leave. OMG if I'd known that (they didn't tell me when I booked, of course), I probably would have looked for something on my own. I know we're guaranteed two seats but with confirmation so late, I'm scared that we'll have more than one stop--please NOT Paris--or will get the last two far flung seats on the plane.

Has anyone else ever used DCL air through DVC? Yikes, should I be worried? I just checked the Delta site logging in with my credit card number and nothing came up...

I don't want to add to your luggage but must admit to a fascination with scrapbooking.........and I hate to say I've never seen any!:confused3

:littleangel:

Actually I think it will be fun to bring it - I may even stick a page in for signatures of the cruisers who are cruising with us both times!!! Oh and now that I think about it - think I will do a page for character autographs!!! Oh this will be fun!!!

question - is anyone already doing a question of the day/week type thing on here? We did it on the EBTA as a way to get to know disney things about each other (great for Secret Mickey's info!) If no one is doing it does anyone mind if I start it?
