My family will be joining this big DIS group for the WBTA. Joining in late (just got home from Baltic which was wonderful)

Me, dh, dd16, dd14, dd9, dd7 and ds7.

We did the EBTA and Med btb in April, loved it and are repeating it with the last med and WBTA back to back.

Kind of late in the planning but hoping to meet some new DIS friends and see some familiar faces again.

We're flying out of Orlando on the 6th on American with a stop at JFK.

through DCL? or you booked yourself?

Multi-stop was what I was really worried about, too. It was my main concern using DCL air.

I just looked up the Orlando to Barcelona flights for the 6th. If you eliminate the multi-stop, all but one go through Atlanta on Flight 114. Just call Delta and ask if you're on that flight. Good luck.

1DisneyQueen did PM me earlier today with the additional DIS names of her group. Originally there were 6 people all listed under her name, I think...but today she contacted me and said that two shoudl be under poohluvsfigment and two should be under copasmile----so those 6 people are all travelling together but have their own DIS names and they are in at least two (maybe 3) separate rooms.

They can correct me if I'm wrong about any of that

We may do .... just have to confer with Lynne as we are meeting her for drinks on the Thursday evening. Do you know what time the Magic Fountains start their show?

Are folks talking about dressing up in villain costumes? or just doing the masquerade part like making/buying/bringing masks?

I am giving serious thought to making Villain themed vests for Jason and I if it's a formal night....and then maybe making and bringing some fancy masquerade masks for us, as well....but I doubt we can bring costumes...there's just not enough room in our bags!!

We are trying to put together a black / purple theme and will definitely do masques. A lot easier to pack than full villain costumes!

I guess I can try to come up with something in my digital scrapbooking stuff

What number did you use to call Delta at? there's a dozen different numbers on their website LOL

I just picked one. 800-221-1212. For the choices, I pressed numbers for international flight and that I already had a flight booked.

Well, my busy day is done. Becky is all settled in her new flat (it's lovely) and we managed to fit into the car most of the 17 various cases, bags and boxes! She did have to leave the books behind for us to take down next week with her desk and book case in Mark's bigger car though.....after all this moving I may start up my own business!


Just one problem.....I've managed to come home with her purse in my handbag!!!! So now I ahve to post it to her tomorrow 'special delivery' as it has all her cash cards etc in......


.......oh and it appears my email acount has been hacked and is sending wierd emails out to all my friends...sorry if you've had one! Good job Mark is an IT geek!

Sue - per the scrapbook - I find it tempting to do more pages but the cost can add up - so for my books - if I am doing a 12x12 I try to do a day per page of the trip and use 6-10 pictures on each page - getting the best of the best on the pages - then once I have the one done that I am going to print - I go back and modify it after I send it to be printed - and add in more pages for each day and save that as a PDF - which allows me to do it as a slide show or upload to places like facebook - it cuts down on the cost but some of my books are still big it seems - I do more collages and less space on the 12x12 books because of the higher price. Now for each of my kids I will convert the 12x12 into and 8x8 for their collection (half the price almost of a 12x12).

I put the price of the book into our trip cost - then it doesn't seem so much - especially when you consider the ease and how beautiful they come out.

Does anyone want me to bring my EBTA book with me?

I have never looked into digital scrapbooking ..... does it work out cheaper than traditional scrapbooking?

Lots of things as PP have said are all listed on page one of this thread. Some of the activities are closing quickly so you may want to read sooner than later.

Great to hear Becky is settled in her new flat. I had my email account hacked recently and all my contacts started getting "viagra" emails from me ( including airlines, DCL etc which was a worry) In the end I didn't know how to stop it so I just cancelled that email address and took out a new one. A real pain in the backside. Hope you get it stopped.

We are flying out Sept 7 on United from Orlando changing in Newark and landing in Barcelona at 915am Sept 8.

That should give us time to get through customs, get our luggage, stop at the grocery store for wine and get to the ship early!

woooooo hoooooo I am really chuffed with my latest Ebay find

..... I have a really lovely Per Una dress which I love and when I bought it I bought a size 12 in the vague hope that by the time of this cruise I would be a size 12. I am now resigned to the fact that this dress will NOT fit me by 10 weeks from now ... and I was gutted.

So luckily enough I found the same dress, brand new on Ebay, in a bigger size, and I won the auction

So if it fits me better than the very tight, with a 2 inch gap at the zip, size 12version, I will keep the new one and re-sell the size 12.
