I just got an e-mail from DCL and got all excited because I thought MAYBE it was a cabin number. No such luck, but I was excited to get the e-mail, reminding me of all the fun to come in 59 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh I hope we get a Disney email too!!

Just got mine, too! We already have a cabin number, so I figure they are just trying to get us to buy more stuff because part of it says: Gifts and Celebrations. Click to explore special extras and stateroom surprises.

Yes, I just had the email, but won't be buying anything this time. Just nice to get an email though to remind me we are going on a cruise SOON!!!!!:lmao: Not that I hadn't worked that out!!!

I have just been thinking of all the things I didn't do on the ship last time and I have decided to write a list of all the things that I MUST do this time.

Hi

We're just a group of 2 adults too, don't think you'll get too bored on all those sea days even if DCL were not organising any activities i think our DIS group have got enough going on to keep us all busy

Welcome to the group, hope you can keep up...

I found somethng great for me... it's Abreva. With the heat and sun(today is 119 at 3:45pm). My lips are fried. I use it at night and keep some kind of spf on during the day.
Abreva is tiny, about the size of your little finger and cost about $15(US).

Anniepopcorn::

Not sure that will help everyone but here in USA if you have a plan which allows you to put aside money (ours is called either a flexible spending or a cafeteria plan) you may be able to use those funds to purchase Abreva.

Explanation of eligible expenses of a FSA or Cafeteria Plan

Our plans provide us with a Mastercard which can only be used for approved medical expenses. I have purchased Abreva with the card.

I got it just a short time ago as well!! Even though it was solicitation, it was exciting. I REALLY can't wait to get the snail mail though!

Mine is December 24th! :goodvibes

DH is Dec 27 and I am Dec 20. At the company where we met, I organized and held a December Babies birthday party for there were so many of us celebrating!!

I know it's an addiction. I have had family members that smoked, None do now. What annoyed me was my FIL smoked around his family and my children when they were babies, he knew we all hated it and wanted him to stop. Then he had a heart attack, and stopped immediately, never had another cigarette, So....if his health is at risk he will stop, but he didn't mind putting everyone else at risk for all those years????
I realise I'm being harsh, and have never vocalised this to him, or anyone for that matter, It just doesn't make sense to me.
I have never smoked or taken drugs, so obviously I don't get it... and I don't suppose I can compare it to my chocolate addiction.....:goodvibes\:thumbsup2

My dad smoked from the time he was in WW2 at age 18 (1942-2005) til he was 80. He smoked first cigarettes, then in later years, a pipe. No one else smoked so he always went outside. The last six weeks of his life he was on a ventilator. I would not wish his last 6 weeks on anyone. My dad knew it was killing him but he was so addicted that he could not stop.

Just my thoughts....

For those of you have sailed these longer cruises, how are the wine packages handled? Marc and I have only been on 3, 4, and 5-day cruises and we did take advantage of the package offered. Do they offer a 14-day package? Methinks that might be a bit much.....

We're also considering picking up some wine and/or cava and bringing that on with us. We've never done that before but if we see something that looks good we just might do so while in Barcelona.
re wine, if you go to gifts you can order a 7 night package, I have an e-mail from disney that I got last week advising me that they have no 14 days but I can order 1 or 2 7 days, Lynne

Back from SIL's house in Clear Lake and had to go back to PAGE 127!!

Bailey and I had fabulous time. I will try to post some pics in the next few days but have so much to catch up on here.

Bought Bailey a new Twilight book but don't know the name. Seems 13 year old girls love this series. I prefer True Blood.
I love the twighlight books, also the films are good, we are also big true blood fans!

e-mail from disney

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Lynne,

Thank you for choosing a Disney Cruise Line vacation!

I am happy to assist!

Due to the length of the Transatlantic cruise, you would need to
purchase two 7-Night Wine Packages is you wished to pre-purchase a wine
package for your cruise.
you could just as easy order any night that is available:confused3
from disney web site.

Guests who request a Wine Steward to open and serve a bottle of champagne, wine or liquor that has been brought onboard will be charged a corking fee of $18.00 per bottle

I meant to say , welcome back Noel, was missing your thoughts, xx

Sarah, are you dressing up for villians night, I am thinking I am going for it but not if I am the only one at the table.:upsidedow

This is what I am looking forward to with my front teeth. Since menopause I am having difficulty with gums not teeth....

I have friends who have had a terrible time with their gums since menopause so I try to be very diligent with the floss and cleannings. In fact I'm going tomorrow for a cleanning. At 55 you'd think I would be through all that but my g.y.n. said the blood test indicated I haven't even started. My response was "So I have NO excuse for being such a Witch?".

I hope you can join Chasity, Gus, Johanna, Monica and Bob & I Friday evening at the Fairmont Tonga Room. We plan to meet about 6:00 for a drink and maybe the happy hour buffet. It should be fun to do a little cruise pre-planning. I warned Chasity to bring a coat, hope she did. I've turned the heater on in the house because 62 inside is just to cool for me. I'll be glad when summer is over and we get some nice weather.

I may do the purple and black theme ... don't think I will do the whole hog with a villain costume .... even though I could easily do Cruella as I have a costume. What do you think?
