Just cutting in with my 2cents worth. I'm wearing an outfit that is "suggestive" of a costume, but not a full-on costume. It will be an skirt and blouse that I can wear on other occasions, but have pieces that are from a costume to finish it.

:cutie:

Should I bring my "puppy paws" Cruella De Ville "fur" stole?

I just got another e-mail for Annual Passholders in Orlando. They are opening up the Tower of Terror for all Annual Passholders on Friday the 13th for 3 hours. You can ride as many times as you want, but that will be the only thing open. I am tempted!!!

Hey! How come we didn't get one of those emails? Thanks for keeping us in the loop!

Albert - that is a great way to look at it. I always think it is great when they send me something to buy more, invest more, pay more. I am like WOHOO!! How dumb is that?

Sandi, we recently received post about Food & Wine Festival. Expect that's because we have Tables in Wonderland.

Guess who wants to go to Sweet Sundays.

Excuse me if I don't join you on TOT:scared1::scared1:

I guess if you are going to show yours I should show mine.

Here is my formal night dress and shoes. I just need to accessorize with maybe a mink stole, a cowbell necklace and tiara.

To you two, sorry about the unemployment. It can be a bit soul destroying job hunting, and also seeing the benefits dropping too. Difficult times in many places worldwide, here included. So glad you can make this cruise and have some real fun and relaxation!!!:grouphug:

Thank you...I hardly slept at all last night since I was stressing out about the job situation. I was like a walking zombie...I did manage to nap a little bit but I'm still fairly tired so hopefully I'll sleep well tonight.

I have just been thinking of all the things I didn't do on the ship last time and I have decided to write a list of all the things that I MUST do this time.

So here it is .... the things I didn't do last time which I must do this time list:

1. Go to the gym.
2. exercise by walking laps on Deck 4
3. see a movie ( or two )
4. order room service
5. use the pool
6. use the hot-tub
7. make an ice cream cookie sandwich
8. drink champagne under the stars
9. have a cocktail at the Heads Up bar
10. see Disney Dreams show
11. try a Konk Kooler
12. have a coffee at the Cove Cafe
13. Visit the rainforest room
14. Attend more art of entertaining and back stage tours.
15. Watch a sunrise
16. Trade pins
17. Go to Palo for dinner
18. Go to Palo for brunch
19. Eat a lunch in a main dining room
20. RELAX !!!!!

Actually .... this list is so long , I wonder what I actually DID DO on my last cruise ....

Anyone else care to share their MUST DO list :yay:

Konk Koolers are AWESOME! If our wedding didn't sneak up on us (well, we had a year to plan but you know how time flies) I wanted the bar tenders to make Konk Koolers at the reception. It didn't happen, but it was a nice thought!

I do also want to watch the sunrise - especially when we're in the middle of the Atlantic...I think that is going to be beautiful!

My Neice enjoyed the Twilight books at age 20, and got me to read them. I enjoyed them but I also prefer True Blood (which I have hooked her on!)

I have read the first three of the Twilight books - the only one I haven't read yet is Breaking Dawn and I'm waiting until it is released in paper back to buy it. I want to start reading the books that True Blood is based upon. DH got me hooked on that show.

Does anyone else cry on the "Till We Meet Again" little show! I DO!!!! I saw that Corrina wanted to do the show and wanted to ask the question so I am not the only one with tissues.

Your triplet here also cries! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Since I am in PA and dont have an AP - you should go in honor of me! LOL!!!!
I did have an AP one year and I so would have done this if it was available when I was down there. Let us know what you decide! :)

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

I havent packed my dresses as of yet. I plan on a few folds then rolling them.
The white one is really a pale ivory, just shows up white.
The purple one is a bridesmaid's dress. We have one formal/bridal shop here and a Dillard's.
Most of the dresses looked like the should be for the "Pimp and Hoe Night" and since Disney wasn't doing THAT night I went for the bridal shop!

Annie:rolleyes1

Is this "Pimp and Hoe Night" another night we need to sign up for????

Boy, would that be a visual!! I can't image DCL would be too pleased either with the dress code that would entail!!

Thought I'd stop in and say hello from the new digs! We arrived in San Miguel this past Wednesday....unfortunately, due to the weather in the Gulf of Mexico these past weeks, there has been LOTS of flooding in northern Mexico where our household goods are. The trailer is stranded there with approximately 12,000 other trucks trying to cross. We came south from New Mexico so we didn't have to deal with the nasty stuff but now we're just waiting....

All in all, life is still good! Met up with some of our new friends last night for a pizza-tasting party to help with some recommendations for a new restaurant that's going to open near us.

Too many pages to back and check up on (I thought y'all MIGHT slow down a bit - WRONG!) so will start from here on out! If there's anything you think I should know about (no eyepatches, please!) fill me in!

Michael

Still way behind in posting. Glad you made it without incident and hope your possessions follows soon. Sounds like you are enjoying your new abode.

Weather.com changed the radar maps in motion because they're revising their website. I think I've re-located it. See if this works better:

http://www.weather.com/maps/maptype/satelliteworld/europeafricaglobalsatellite_large_animated.html

This shows (I think) where hurricanes come from, and may indicate how the season is progressing.

There's also a very good one from Environment Canada which shows a slightly different view:

Sorry for the mix-up - and I've been away so didn't know it was a problem.

Richard

Thanks for the cool links. I am sure we will look at them a lot before the cruise.

Walgreens had the Purex sheets .99 for two. In case someone wants more or needs them. I do the laundry a lot when on vacation so we stocked up. We now have 5 packs including the 2 that we got free from Purex. I can't stand having dirty laundry even on vacation. It's a sickness I know :)

Note to any Champaign Girls in the US still looking for pink boas - Hancock Fabrics has them for $4.99. Hope this helps.

I just got an e-mail from DCL and got all excited because I thought MAYBE it was a cabin number. No such luck, but I was excited to get the e-mail, reminding me of all the fun to come in 59 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got mine, too! We already have a cabin number, so I figure they are just trying to get us to buy more stuff because part of it says: Gifts and Celebrations. Click to explore special extras and stateroom surprises.

Yep, we got this one too... I was going to order flowers for the room until I saw that they were quite a bit more $$ than when departing PC...

re wine, if you go to gifts you can order a 7 night package, I have an e-mail from disney that I got last week advising me that they have no 14 days but I can order 1 or 2 7 days, Lynne

I love the twighlight books, also the films are good, we are also big true blood fans!

I got hooked on the TB books, so the show was a no brainer... It is on late, so I record it and then watch...

e-mail from disney

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Lynne,

Thank you for choosing a Disney Cruise Line vacation!

I am happy to assist!

Due to the length of the Transatlantic cruise, you would need to
purchase two 7-Night Wine Packages is you wished to pre-purchase a wine
package for your cruise.
you could just as easy order any night that is available:confused3
from disney web site.

Guests who request a Wine Steward to open and serve a bottle of champagne, wine or liquor that has been brought onboard will be charged a corking fee of $18.00 per bottle

Thanks for the confirmation on this!!

Where do you buy you're formalnight dresses?

Welcome back Noel.

Connie

Connie I got mine from nexteve.com. They make and ship to arrive in about 2 weeks, custom to your measurements to arrive in 3 weeks. Great sale right now... I have a coupon code if you see one you like, PM me and I will send you the code.

Well thanks... look what you started... I'm never going to get it out of my head now! :rotfl:

I wonder if putting your passport into your spanx would make it pick pocket proof? :rotfl2:

If you want I can play it off my cell phone for you:rotfl2:

Carring your passport in your spanks! What a plan!:rolleyes1

Annie:cheer2:
