The allears EBTA blog had photos from their High Tea and it looks like it has been greatly improved. I had no intention of booking tea until I saw those photos. We had been disappointed in high tea in the past.

Yes I did tip the guides....There are 2 or 3....one driving and the others helping you get ready to go up.

Do you mind me asking how much, I find it so embarresing and never have a clue what to tip folks,in the usa everybodys seems more comfterable with it.
I dont want to know exactly, just a ball park figure.

could you pm me a link pretty please or post it.

The Rasual is for couples so you are touching each other - no one else is touching you like in a massage or I guess you could put the mud on yourself too, as well as the lotions, oils, etc. that is part of that routine.

They also have one that is like the alone time in the villas which is the ones we booked.

Annette just canceled hers so now im getting a full massage instead. I know she will want the dooney and burke instead.

Just working on my plan for what to do in Orlando while we are there. We are staying at Kidani Village in a Savannah studio until the 12th and have decided not to do the parks at WDW (we are going to Disneyland for 3 days on the way home).

So we are going to enjoy our pool hopping privileges (hoping its warm enough) and doing some resort touring. Here is the list of the other things we are planning to do.

Downtown Orlando
Lake Eola – farmers market on a Sunday
The History Centre (Orlando museum) 10am-5pm M-S, Sunday 12-5pm
http://www.thehistorycenter.org
$9 adults/$7 seniors
parking ~$2/hour

Mousesurplus (42 minutes from WDW)
Mon-Sat 10-6pm (Haines City)
http://www.mousesurplus.com/directions.html

Downtown Disney

Mini Golf – Fantasia Gardens or Winter/Summerland ~$US12 a round each

Walmart/Kmart/Target/Walgreens

Outlet Malls

http://www.premiumoutlets.com/outlets/outlet.asp?id=17
http://www.lbvfs.com/
http://www.villaorlandoflorida.co.uk/orlando_villas_area/orlando_shopping/belz_mall.htm

Thrift Stores
http://www.thethriftshopper.com/city/Kissimmee/FL/1.htm

Eating Out
  • Sweet Tomatoes Buffet
  • Cici's Pizza
  • Beaches'n'Cream
  • Earl of Sandwich

Any other ideas are welcome, we did the Boggy Creek airboats last time and it was great!

Sounds like you have tons of stuff planned, but there is a place in Orlando that not too many people talk about and it is so much fun - and this is a DCL disboard so I am not being sarcastic, but they have a Titanic exhibit that is phenomenal. It is on I-Drive and I am sure you can google it. They give you a name of a passenger and throughout the whole museum, you are that person. They take you on Deck of when the boat sank, and it is just as cold, you get to feel the iceberg. At the end, they have the artifacts from the Titanic and you look on a huge board and find out if you were a passenger or crew and if you lived or died. We took Abby several years ago and it was a blast. Abby was so confident she lived because she was a woman, but it turned out she died because she was a maid. We laughed - I mean the situation isn't funny, but it was a good family time and you get to experience the entire thing. You get to walk up the gangplank, just like on the cruise and everything. Okay, that is my 2 cents - I will go back to reading the boards.

Any body doing anything exciting tonight?
(please mind I am at work so dont post anything too exciting to me me jealous)

Nothing exciting, just been trekking round garden centres and chilling out in the garden in the sunshine (sorry Marilyn we must have all the sun today):cool1:

That looks so much fun, wish I was brave enough!:thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 We never last time as far as I can mind, shame it was too windy, Is it just me or is anybody else about to burst with excitement as all the planning is getting so serious and so near to actually going, I looked at my rezy just then and it has been booked since nov 08:hourglass

I've been getting really excited too, though we only booked a little while back so at least we haven't had to wait so long!:thumbsup2 I bet it goes quickly now too....:cool1:

The parasailing thing - I have always been nervous to do it. Doesn't it scare you that when he dips you in the water that there is a shark there or something? I know that sounds ridiculous and your pictures are wonderful, but it looks scary!

Here is a link about all the food on the EBTA http://land.allears.net/blogs/lauragilbreath/disney_cruise_line/mediterranean_cruise_2010/

found it this morning and thought all you dieters and non-dieters alike would enjoy it. I give all of you on a diet and big high 5! It is difficult and I am no expert either way so I just listen and try to learn from other people.

We had our first High Tea on the PC and it was wonderful, but our next time last September wasn't quite as good, though I still enjoyed it. I'm hoping for better things this time as I loved going.

I think I gave them $10 each. That time we had 3 guides, the other times we have only had 2.....I gave it to 1 guide and told him to divide it up amongst them. I might have been to cheap but he seemed happy!!

The water is so clear that you can see for a long ways. If there was a shark I would have been screaming to them!! :rotfl: It is not scary......cold but not scary.

To Sarah (TotallyAngellic)

I would like to send you a PM but your mailbox is full. Please PM me when I can send you a message.

Thanks,

Noel

Thanks for that Marilyn :) It has never really appealed to me, though I do love Harrods champagne afternoon tea!:thumbsup2 lol I'd be worried I'd never have room for dinner after that tea!:rotfl2:

Well you do get Champagne Mandy, and there are warm fresh scones too, but they aren't photographed there.

And yes, I did feel very full afterwards.:lmao: We had a kind of lemon dessert which was gorgeous.

Just found a picture.
