Bumping from page 2

When is the Wonder going to Ca? and when is she coming back? Are the books open on that one yet? We were on the Magic for the eastbound TC cruise in August.
I became a great-aunt last night. (I've always been a wonderful aunt but...) My niece gave birth to an 8 lb 12 oz baby girl.![]()
Good Friday afternoon to you!
BTW My son and I have those very same shirts.
Well, DH and I have been clearing out our bedroom - so he can paint it. I've finally sat down and am taking a "little" break while I check out the boards.

What color??? We painted our bedroom a soft brown color called "warm nutmeg" a couple of years ago and still love it! I know that brown sounds like a strange color for a bedroom, but it's very subdued and relaxing.![]()
Well, we're very neutral (boring?) people - we went with Swiss Coffee which sounds like it has some color but actually comes out a little whiter than the ubiquitous Navajo White that gets used a lot for a "neutral" look.
He has now finished the first coat on the ceiling and after a dinner break is putting on the second coat. Possibly I will be sleeping in the living room tonight.
As I posted earlier: I don't think I can make it til Sept 2010. Turns out DH can't either. He's talked me into an Alaska cruise this Sept! I can see me now: bundled in my bathrobe and blanket, holding my hot chocoloate in my hands, with my ear muffs on.But I'm planning on enjoying it all the same.

Just popping on to say HAPPY EASTER to those of you who celebrate. We are enjoying living somewhere that is snow free for Easter and the kids found a few dozen eggs outside for a change. I hope everyone has a great day.
Wishing everyone a very Happy Easter
Hope you all have a lovely day! We don't do anything very exciting now that the kids are older, we used to have an easter egg hunt all over the house when they were younger. Today we will be having a nice lunch with my Mum and the kids will get chocolate eggs. DH and I are working night shifts to night which tends to take the shine off the day, and we are also sanding and waxing our hallway floor!
Have a great day everyone!
Happy Easter. A beautiful coastal sunrise here this morning, but very chilly; we even had to turn the heat back on. I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Happy Easter to all who celebrate. We went to the sunrise service at Arlington National Cemetary this morning and although it was cold, it was a beautiful service. They had it in the amplitheater by the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and to say you could feel the serenity would be an understatement. I was lucky enough to get one of the Easter Lilies they used to line the podium and it is now on my father's grave. He was eligible to be buried in Arlington, but chose our family plot instead. I just thought the lily was very appropraite for his grave.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day.
