You booked too! :goodvibes:goodvibes awesome :)
Is Steffy stowing away in your suitcase?
I call the Vista Spa.............:worship::lmao::lmao::rotfl2:

Yes, we both will be on the cruise in Dec and next September. :thumbsup2

In September next year, we will both turn 60 while on the cruise.

Kathy......:grouphug:

We are now home in Montana and the temp got up to 60 yesterday. We were in t-shirts and cooked out on the patio. :thumbsup2
Go spring:cheer2:

I did not know that Sonneberg had an aquarium.

The dress is gold and stunning. You can see some really good photos here:

http://www.cyberexotic.com/Gala Golden Dress.htm

The colour is slightly out. In real life it is more of an antique gold and a lot brighter than in the picture.

Corinna

The dress fabulous:cool1:I can't wait to see you on formal night:thumbsup2

The ship was dirty, we saw our stateroom host a total of zero times on the 7 day cruise, the pull out bed was never put back so the room was wall to wall bed the entire cruise even after going to guest services on a daily basis, the excursions were not as advertisedd and when we questioned it the cruise director threatened to and did call the police, although we simply asked his name so we could write a letter. There were only two sit down restuarants that did not have an additional fee and they served the same menu. The entertainment was bad at best,

Suffice it to say we tried Norweign and will not cruise with them again. Other ships in their fleet may be better, but I can only comment on the Dawn. I have read other posts where others loved the other ships. we will stick with Disney.

Sounds like a terrible trip:scared:Good thing you have DCL to come back to:thumbsup2

I worked my first shift at the Disney Store last night since my surgery in January. It was so much fun! I was trying to sell these Easter Thumpers since we were down to the last few. Well, I ask this guest if he was interested in a Thumper and he called me a Thumper Pusher! LOL! I have to admit, that was a good one. I guess if I'm going to push anything, it needs to be Disney! :thumbsup2

:lmao::lmao::lmao: Good to hear you are finally recovered enough to get back to normal life:goodvibes

Well done on selling that one to me! Note to self never go this cruise company! Sounds dreadful!

I will have to do a trip report for another forum anyway so I cross-post it to the Disboards and put the link in my signature.

I have every intention to enjoy the cruise. They have an area in the spa that is a bit like the Rainforest Room, but the heated tile loungers have an ocean few and they have a big square hot tub in there as well. I am just longing to just relax and to be gently rocked to sleep by the waves.

Thanks for your reply. I have read every review going on the Norwegian Jade and she seems to get pretty good reviews. Entertainment is not really a concern to us. I only saw two of the shows on the Magic and none on the Wonder so I am pretty sure that I won't go to any shows on the Jade. We go with a completely open mind. We know that it won't be the Magic/ Wonder, but it will be nice to get a comparison.

Corinna

Thanks Corinna. The spa sounds fantastic!

Kathy -

I see my DF made an appearance on here, DBK1029! I've heard about that trip many times! LOL!

I've been sick over the last couple of days. Nothing too horrible but just a pain.

LOL well its a novel idea - Pusher for soft toy alert lol

My son works at Animal Kingdom (does the parade), although lately he's done the Spectro parade. He's only part time now. Works Friday and Sunday. Maybe you saw him in parade. Or maybe he was also doing Adventure Begins on the day you were at AK.

ya never know... That is cool for him to be working at Disney. I know the pay is bad, but what great stories he will have later in life.:thumbsup2

Thankyou everyone for the hugs, pixie dust and prayers. I do appreciate it.

I am making cookies today. Cookies are great therapy for any problem;)

Tomorrow I am back at moms for a couple of days. I will try and check in next week one day.

So everyone have a great weekend:goodvibes

Hi Everyone! I have not been on this thread in awhile. I am counting down the days right now to our cruise in June! I guess I just could not wait till Sept 2010 to cruise again! :thumbsup2

I updated the rollcall on the website this morning.

Have a great day!

I, too, don't feel like I can wait, however, I'm now trying to figure out how we can afford the (possible) WBPC 2011 on the Wonder. Being on the west coast I sure would appreciate a DCL option here. Of course, I'm quite partial to the Magic, but I'd like to give the Wonder a shot.:cloud9:

We would love to do that one too. Of course it is going to happen when we move from SoCal to VA! I guess we will just use the time to visit old friends! :thumbsup2

I agree - waiting until September 2010 is too long, so we just booked a $99 bounceback on the Wonder for December 2009!

Haven't posted much either. But have been reading.

The four day cruise in Feb was great, best part the Segway in Nassau, will do the Barcelona Segway for sure. Will we have time on the day of embarkation, they have two, 2.5 hr, tours; morning and early evening? When do we depart port and do you think we will be allowed to get back off the ship, like they could in 2007?

Marilyn, I booked the 3 day bounce back cruise as well, but did it on DVC points and it was 20 points@ for a cat 8, early November.

Hi everyone.

Just stopping by to say Hi. I am hoping to find some time to catch up on the posts. Haven't really been able to keep up since last December! Between life and work..not a lot of spare time but I do check on the Boards every now and then. Hope all is well with everybody.

We are looking forward to the Wonder coming to CA and plan on being with her when she crosses over.

Anyway Hi Everyone!

Linda

When is the Wonder going to Ca? and when is she coming back? Are the books open on that one yet? We were on the Magic for the eastbound TC cruise in August.

I became a great-aunt last night. (I've always been a wonderful aunt but...) My niece gave birth to an 8 lb 12 oz baby girl.

The Wonder is moving to LA sometime in 2011 and the Dream will take it's place at PC. So there will be a PC west bound only crossing in 2011. We're anticipating announcements in November.

(Also there are rumors that it will do 7 day Mexican cruises and at some point in the summer relocate to a more northern port...Seattle?/Vancouver?...for some Alaskan cruises...then head back to LA)

Congrats on becoming a great-aunt!

There's a thread going: Wonder's Panama Canal Repo 2011 - AND WE'RE NOT BRINGING IT BACK! http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2136688

No itinearies out yet. I would love to be onboard when they go through the Panama.
