Mostly, but also a bit nervous (to be expected). I think they will feel much better about it after our visit next week. Neither one of them has ever even been to Germany so it is a little hard for them to wrap their heads around it. They (and I) were really nervous about trying to jump into a German school right away speaking virtually no German, but it is sounding like (knock on wood--this is my single biggest worry about the entire thing right now) the company will pay for an international school

(they are "looking into it" now). That will be such a good place for them and much much less stressful for them (homeschooling is not legal in Germany so we cannot just keeping going with what we have been doing

).
Rio is bummerd to move before his dance recital (I am sure you can understand that

) but his teacher is going to throw a party for him and make sure he gets his five year award before we leave (this is BIG for him because he was miffed that he hasn't gotten one yet having danced for 7 years but because he had to changed studios when we moved here from Michigan--he would have received it at the dance recital this spring). Anyway, our friend who lives there has assured him there are plenty of dance classes in Heidleberg too so he is feeling better about it all
Marika was supposed to test for her black belt in early March. Her insturctor is awesome and working with her privately to get her enough ahead to test for it two months early so she can get it before we leave. That is great of him, and I am so proud of her

She will probably keep up with martial arts in Germany also, but it will be good for her to know she got all the way to black belt here because anywhere she starts will be somewhat different and take some new learning
