Thanks for the reminder!! Give it a try now!

Todd, you probably looked while I was in the process of adding all the locations, which was after I posted the link. You also probably didn't see the terminal nor WDW when you looked.

There are maybe 5 characters left in the "Description Field", so adding the MAC instructions we'll have to likely remove the "warm-fuzzy", which is fine.

Cool ...:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I still cant add my mark ...hmmmmmmmm

Yeah , I figured it out :cool1: :cool1: .....Lori I think you have to register ...I did and I was able to place my pin after I went to edit ....I followed PJ's instructions

I was signed into my google account so it was easy, but Todd I see you on the map now, how did you get it done?

PJ

Created and signed into my google account and still can't get it to work :( ...going to have to try this again tomorrow

I marked my spot with my Flag ....that is too cool
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

It is cool, but it could cover other's pinpoint, ya know what I mean? :) In fact, I just went looking for another smaller graphic for Port Canaveral because it shows up so large on the US map.

On the WBPC, people added hotels, attractions and other points of interest for both Florida and L.A. If anyone has similar additions that would be great. There are markers for all kinds of points of interest.

Oh Kimberly--that was fast. Way to go:cool1: I tried to add myself (in New Hampshire--can I change it later?) but when I right click I do not get the add a placemark option. I am never any good at this stuff:sad2:

Hey, Hadley! As I'm sure you've read by now, try logging into Google first. I do see that you can remove a pinpoint, so get yourself out there in NH now! I'll help you if you need to relocate your pinpoint and family to Germany! :thumbsup2

BTW, let Marika know that at some point she should be seeing credit for her fundraiser from me.

Not a problem , just made it smaller

Thanks, brill ides, but i get the same options as you, not so good at it either thogh.

Okay...I tried the instructions I wrote after logging out and closing the window to simulate anyone just starting. I had been in "edit" mode so much, I didn't consider that. :-) So for you PC users, try clicking on "Edit" that's located near the map's title and just above the written instructions. See if that works, and let me know.

Thanks!...hey, looks like I'm going to be in your area in a couple of weeks. Heading to Cwmbryn (actually staying in Cardiff) for work. Just a quick trip for a one day meeting, so won't have much time to really enjoy the area outside of working.

Oh my God why lol! No Cwmbryns nice. Just to warn you though its freezing here at the moment so come prepared! At least you're staying in Cardiff so youll get to see a bit of the city. Are you going to have much time to explore? If you like beer there's a new (well about 5 month old) microbrewery in Cardiff called Zero Degrees and they do some great beers and largers.

I did a google map for the WB PC repo last year, then added it to the website I made in iWeb for the group, people were able to add to the map and leave comments attached to their pins, can I post a link let's see......

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=U...99.84375&spn=30.359831,56.25&z=4&source=embed

These were the instructions for adding one's self to the map, "To add yourself, head to the site (click on larger map link above), click on EDIT. Find your location, then add your location by using the blue pointer, next to the hand. Set your pointer, at an approximate location, no exact locations. Title it your DIS name. Click on the Save button, then the Done button. The map can be moved so everyone around the world can be included. To see your addition, refresh the page."

PJ

This is so cool! I knew there must be a way out there to do this! Are you OK to set this up PJ? I don't mind having a go but I'm such an idiot when it comes to technology sometimes I'll probably create a map of the moon lol

Brilliant idea, PJ!

Here ya go everyone! Our very own DIS Map!! Mark your spot now!

(I'm hopeful this can be linked into our website by Stephanie.)

And as if by magic someone's already done it! What a star you are!

Hey Sarah--we never got so much as a fast pass either! We figure it's all good if we're at Disney anyway (and Erik and Jason got YOAMD ears and didn't want them and giften the kids so they DID end up getting some of that magic:thumbsup2 )

Ah that's so nice! Good job Erik & Jason
