....my hubby just e-mailed and said you did not even out us in the correct ....Can I move me back?

Absolutely you can. Just get yourself back in "Edit" mode, and drag your pinpoint to where you need it. If it's easier to start over, you can go the the incorrect location and "delete" that one then create a new.

Let us know if you need more help!

OK, I guess we need to add another support group ;) . In addition to the "Not Crazy for Pirates," "Teeth Grinders," and "Pet Lovers," we've now got the "I'm Not Crazy for Flying" group (of which, I have to sadly admit, I'm also a member).

Let's see...I belong to teeth grinders, pet lovers and I'm not crazy for flying groups! LOL!!!!! I should also belong to the "I Like Pirates, but Not Totally Crazy about Them" group. :thumbsup2

Well check this out, Ive even managed(where theres a will theres a way) to get the banner on!!!!:scratchin lots of this, 2 weeks and boredom at work and I have cracked it.

Hehe! Sounds like it's now time to start working on those door magnets!

... When I was little it didnt bother me I couldnt wait but now as I keep getting older I hate it more and more each time. And I love how they say you've reached you final destination. Its like hello dont say that.
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
...In terms of using the map, I just wanted to mention a point of caution. :tiptoe: If you are in EDIT mode, it's very easy to grab onto an existing Pinpoint and move it if it's yours or not. ...
!
Good to know. I'd be happy if someone would relocate me to Hawaii - preferably beachfront in Kahala:thumbsup2 :rotfl2: .
Hey folks!

Just a reminder about lanyards.....if you want lanyards for this trip you need to send an email to WBTALanyards@yahoo.com
Thanks for the reminder. Email sent!:thumbsup2
Anna, thanks for the encouragement:thumbsup2 . I have always wanted to visit Norway--it looks so beautiful in photos and I actually love the film at EPCOT (old as it is). I know it is possible to have a great time in the local schools. I picked up SPanish very quickly and did just fine in high school in Spain. Like you brother, I did not have to take an extrea foreign language--I "helped out" in the English class. German school would be rough on Marika because she is such a perfectionist and because the two schools our friend has spoken with so far both insist Marika would have to take French and not use the time spent on a foriegn language to work on her German. Also, by her age the German schools have already split the kids into a higher level and lower level track from which they really can't move later. All that said, it WOULD be doable and I am sure the kids would handle any of it just fine--but the internatioanl school would be easier on all involved (and less liekly to balk at taking 2 week cruises across the Atlantic during the school year:rotfl2: ).

I was busy and I plan on being busy (and Deanna I seem to recall you saying you were just going to sit and knit before the last TA--so yeah, I'll believe it when I see it:rotfl: ). We had dance classes, LOTS of games, deck parties and BBQs, the improv classes and Ducky lectures were big highlights, adult tiem in the Oceaneer's Lab, etc etc. Like the shorter DCL cruises there were always more good choices than time to do it all.
Good things to know, especially about the cruising part:scared1: Your kids have had such amazing experiences with your ability to travel. It would be shame to not be able to continue. It's too bad homeschooling is not recognized. It does sound like International school would be a good option. My family knew they would only be in Norway for a year. My mom was a teacher so she technically homeschooled my brother for 7th grade (easier than trying to get the Norwegian school info transferred) and she did fill in the subject areas that he was missing.

We were constantly on the go last time too and still didn't do everything I wanted. It was tough losing an hour each night too. This time though Deanna is going to teach ME to knit:rotfl2: :) . Besides we have 25 hour days to get everything crammed in.:rotfl2:

Kimberly,

Thanks for noting that I was in the wrong place and didn't have a logo....I must have moved myself on accident when I was trying to figure out how to make our tag smaller (which i still never figured out)...but I DID have a tag....which is wierd. I had it linked directly to a tigger website I use a lot...but I just replaced it with a link to the image loaded onto my photobucket page so hopefully it will stay there.

I must confess, though, that I also learned the hard way how easy it was to move someone else because as soon as I logged in yesterday to add our marker I accidentally moved Nordkin into Ohio.....and then I knew which tag I had moved but I coudlnt' figure out whose tag it was until i started clicking on all the names and finally it came up....and luckily Nordkin had "Bethesda, MD" in their description so I was able to move them back where they belong!!;)

Just popping in to say hi, I've been gone for a few weeks with one thing and another and have no intention of reading back the old posts... I know, no sense of commitment :-)

We are busy painting the most of the rooms in our home and have loads of work in the garden now the summer is here.

I've also been working a lot of overtime and out of town to earn some extra cash for my Christmas holiday (Princess cruise out of Sydney to Noumea and New Caledonia).

I hope all you American's had a great and safe Thanks Giving and if I'm not around much over the next few month or so, I hope everyone has a great holiday season.

Funny you moved me to Ohio because recently my company wanted me to move to Cleveland and I turned it down. Now if you moved it to central NY I don't think I would have cared.

Paula - Happy Christmas to you, and have a great cruise.

We are at Valley of the Rogue State Park in southern OR tonight. We should be at DL by Dec 14! :cool1:  I think we will get to do 6 days there! :yay: Family and friends to see along the way. Just got an email from friend we are seeing tomorrow and Sunday. They are excited, setting up the drums, gettig out the guitars and want to jam with DrHug. :woohoo:

It sounds like you are having a very nice time. ENjoy the friends and DL--it is nice to see a post from you:thumbsup2

Hello, All! Night before last, ON the MAGIC, we signed up for this trip! I'm freaking about flying, but excited about the cruise!

Welcome:wizard: (also to other newcommers whom I think I missed:flower3: )

Hadley, give the kids hugs from me! I'm sure they are nervous, but it's a very exciting adventure they are about to go on!!!

I can understand why Rio would want his five year award...I just had my 25 year award in June! LOL!!!! I'm sure he'll find a great studio to go to in Germany! :thumbsup2

I'm also glad to hear that Marika will get to earn her black belt before leaving. I'm sure that's very important to her, just as dancing is to Rio!

How are you handling everything?

I will absolutely pass along your well wishes to the kids:goodvibes thanks.

I think I am handling everything just fine. I am very excited at the prospect. It is kind of daunting trying to pull so much together so quickly. I find myself not sleeping well because my mind won't quit racing with all the details--and the other day when something small happened to upset me I got really upset and sat here crying which I am sure was mostly because of the stress of the situation SO I guess I know I am not handling it quite as well as I think:upsidedow
I just finished up all the holiday shopping yesterday. It was a quite a chalenge this year figuring out what to get for the kids from us, my parents, Dave's parents, etc. (everyone always sends me money and asks me to shop for them!) that the kids would really want that would be small and easy to pack to take to Germany:scared: and the Christmas play will be over this afternoon so that is two big things off my plate now and I am feeling GOOD:banana:

I'm so glad PJ made the suggestion for the Google Map! It was my pleasure to get it started. I agree with the comment someone made that it's so awesome to see how spread out we are, yet we're all together here!

In terms of using the map, I just wanted to mention a point of caution. :tiptoe: If you are in EDIT mode, it's very easy to grab onto an existing Pinpoint and move it if it's yours or not.

Out of curiosity of who's where, I've noticed a couple of "oopsies". For example, Erik & Jason's Pinpoint is in Canada right now (and without an icon...I found that by clicking on Tig82714 in the list on the left; although, I see Erik made his own oopsy on this one). I also would have sworn that yesterday I saw Alex's (alexturner74) from Atlanta pinpointed in Florida. Due to the description comment, I'm not sure if DH Chrisva intended to be in the middle of nowhere or not. ;)

So please understand that we all have the power to easily and unintentionally change the map. If you're done with your addition, I suggest you go back to where the "Edit" button was and click "DONE" so you mitigate the risk. Just use care with your mouse pointer so you don't move another's point, and if you see your mouse got excited and moved someone, let that person know so THEY can make it right. You never know if at a micro level they may have their pinpoint at a special iconic location in their city (like mine is on the Muirfield Golf Course in my city, which is home to the PGA Memorial Tournament). Of course....if you want to send me to Bora Bora, then I might not mind! :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a great Saturday...no doubt many will be working on holiday-related activities. To the newbies, I'm thrilled for you that you are booked and found us!

PS: :rotfl2: Orlandothebeagle posted a comment about this very same thing as I was writing this!

Kimberly thank you for that warning!:worship: I can completely see myself inadvertently moving someone and not realizing it. Now I know to be very careful.

Let's see...I belong to teeth grinders, pet lovers and I'm not crazy for flying groups! LOL!!!!! I should also belong to the "I Like Pirates, but Not Totally Crazy about Them" group. :thumbsup2
Amy, I am glad you added that last one--I was starting to feel like such a loner:lmao: (note in case I seem like an awful person--I like pets, but we move and travel far too much to have any of our own--except one sweet little bunny rabbit of Rio's who will not be able to go to Germany:sad2: )

Well check this out, I've even managed(where theres a will theres a way) to get the banner on!!!!:scratchin lots of this, 2 weeks and boredom at work and I have cracked it.
It looks good

The cruise sounds so nice (Princess is the other line we enjoy):) I hope you'll post some of your experiences when you get back.

Funny you moved me to Ohio because recently my company wanted me to move to Cleveland and I turned it down. Now if you moved it to central NY I don't think I would have cared.

That is a pretty funny coincidence:rotfl:

sounds like a great cruise.have fun. you been working a lot of overtime at least one country is getting overtime.

Well, the kids' had a very nice opening night performance of Christmas at the OK Corral last night. I am so happy about it:thumbsup2 I had never directed before and I was really afraid that when I did I would end up with a disaster. The kids were all really good and talented and made my job so easy. Out of 20 kids I really only had two I had to deal with behaviour issues for, and only one stage mom (yep, mom of one of the aforementioned two:rotfl: ) and even those two came around when they realized I would not be pushed around. One tried to go nuts last night. I pulled her aside and explained to her that she could start behaving right then or I would pull her from the show and explained to her exactly how we could quickly and easily work around her not being there so yes it was possible to pull her 30 minutes before curtain. I could see the gears turning in her head, and when she realized I really could do it boy she turned around that behaviour ASAP:rotfl2:
We sold plenty of tickets--enough that I am conifdent now the show will break even (we had a shoe string budget--scripts being the big expense, but I did not want to lose the nonprofit company any money:eek: )
Here is a link to a newspaper article about it if anyone is interested:
