PJ Breakfast?? We're a bit ADD here. Was there any consensus/conclusion on this? Maybe we should just leave it as is. I thought I read somewhere (though might have imagined it) that there is more than one character breakfast, so anyone who wanted to do that would still have an opportunity to do so. Or could we just show up at the character breakfast in our jammies, if it happened to be the same day? That could be fun.

hi, has anyone used 1800 fly europe to book there flights, we have seen a really good price for a virgin flight, but never seen them before, thanks

I booked our flights from Orlando with them. No problems at all and exceedingly cheaper than through the airlines. I called to change seats (see previous saga, I mean, post) and we're in the system so it all looks good.

OMG I just noticed that today is.......

My Double Digit Day!!!!!
party: :dance3: 99 days & I'll be on the plane to Barcelona!!!!
:dance3: party:

:mickeyjum:tigger::goofy::stitch::donald:

OMD!! Same here!! Except we're driving to Orlando the day before, so I guess we're at 98 days til we begin the "expotition" (as Pooh would say)!

Ok so if you follow my antics on Facebook you will see I am possibly a lil drinker and embrace the English weekend events of Pub Crawls ( Sorry to anyone I may offend)... so after seeing what they were planning on the EBTA I want to see if there is any interest in a Disney Magic Pub Crawl.:drinking1:drinking1:drinking1

In my mind the crawl would go like this...

On a sea day those who were interested would meet in one of the bars for ( Traditionally a half pint pounded, I would suggest a drink of your choice) and then visit (Crawl) every other bar on the ship at least once.

As we do not have to worry about anything closing or how we are getting home, I would imagine we can spend 20-30 min at each location versus the 5-10 min you have on the monopoloy pub crawl in London.

Perhaps we can make tshirts up too.

Ok Just a thought.. What do you think?

:wave: Count us in, too. Though I don't know, we might have trouble keeping up... ;)

Hi Everyone!! My DH and I were on the WBTA last year. We hoped to do it again in 2012, but it's not happening. Sooooo....we just booked for this year!! I'm so excited! We loved it last year. From day one I felt like I was missing something. That everyone knew something I didn't know. We walked around the halls each night and looked at doors and kept seeing thie "fish extender" phrase and "DIS". Once we figured it out I got home and found you! Now I know what I didn't know last year. I'm joining the FE groups, I'm doing the candy swap, I'm decorating our door. Thank you so much for all you're doing to make this cruise special. We're bringing my parents for a trip of a lifetime. They didn't get to go last time. Hope to see you all in September!!

Welcome aboard!

And welcome to any other new people I've missed!

Had another 12 hour work-day today, then had to come home and look after the "kids." I'm soooooooo ready for a nice, long vay-cay!

Karen - can you keep a spot open on the new thread for the newly-organized pub crawl?

they are incredible ,we got one of front only ship and mouse ears and i guess dh and i can trade off..they are both so cute..im looking around for some pins to put on them too..
oh i keep forgetting to ask since this is only my 4th post [!] does anyone play farkle or bunco? we can have :yay:a tournament and give prizes!

As much as one can man up with a 10 month old on board.....count me in. If we can get mom to babysit I am sure my DW would also be in for some fun.

Looking forward to it! BURP!

ADD? Huh? ;) The concern came when the EBTA had character breakfasts over that 5-day crossing, and the potential for clashing and some having to cancel at the last minute. I think Mary is going to ask when she is onboard next week to see if they have any insight...

Taryn flies to Orlando on 19th June ... expect a lot of weeping and wailing on here as I will be so anxious. First time she has left the country / flown without us.

She is going to have an amazing time. I was a CP about 8 years ago.... 8 years... oh my. Anyway, working in the parks was beyond amazing, and it was amazing to meet the kids on the International Program. In fact, one of my roomies met her husband while we were there. Does she know what her assignment is yet? Merchandise or Food Services?

I have the same plan when it comes to meals .... cut down to 2 meals a day, choose the low fat / low carb options and only one unhealthy treat per day, which will hopefully be balanced out by the extra walking. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the tips

The last time I was at WDW I was on Weight Watchers and I lost I think 4 pounds. I recommend having your husband hire one of those jazzy chairs (that's what we call it here in AZ) and chase him around all day. Those things can zip through a crowd. I watched what I ate, most of the time, but also allowed myself to enjoy the vacation. We ate at the Earl of Sandwich a couple of times (their bread is beyond words) and the meal always ended with a brownie.

We are at 102 days. :woohoo:. I wish we could fly in a day or two early, but no can do. I'll be lucky if DH comes at all.

I've sold my iPhone and went to the 'android side' - I have no countdown on my phone anymore:(

I think I am 99 days too

I'm dancing :dancer::dancer:

Me too!! I have a countdown app on my iPhone, it's so exciting!!! :cool1: :cloud9: :dance3: :yay: :cheer2: :woohoo:

I'm at 93 days until I leave!!! :dance3: I've had this booked for over a year, and it's the last 4 months that is killing me... the clock needs to go faster.

How nice, something for the boys to participate in. Although I'm not for one minute suggesting that girls do not enjoy pub crawls, or should be excluded!

It's just with "ladies high tea" and "champagne girls" organised it's nice to have something a little more MANLY for the husbands to join in with, GRRRR!!!! Insert TOOL TIME sound effects here !!!

Sadly I don't drink, however I'm more than happy to be the designated "guider" for those who need help returning to their stateroom after the event, and take lots of incriminating photos to post online when you return home.....:rotfl::rotfl:

SW

You are more than welcome to join the Champagne Girls, although you will be required to wear a pink feather boa & tiara. :cutie:

Oh and we don't want any incriminating photos thank you very much!!!! ;) :rotfl2:

Although you can definately tag along and direct us all back to our rooms at the end of the evening, I am sure quite a few of us will be needing help. :goodvibes

:woohoo::woohoo: Just realized that we're in the same boat, so to speak! We fly out on the 7th too!:woohoo::woohoo: Though for us it's a red eye flight, so don't get there until the 8th. Joining the happy dance brigade!

:dancer: :dancer: :dancer: :dancer:

:dance3: Yay! 98 days now!!!! :dance3:

Thank you for the reassurance ... I really need to get a grip.
She is working in merchandising but doesn't know where yet. She is hoping to be in one of the Parks, and would love somewhere with a themed costume.

Hi Everyone

I have recieved this email from the Dolphin Excursion this morning. I am a bit annoyed as they told me there wouldn't be a problem with capacity on the earlier time. The problem with 12:00 as it is right in the middle of the day and wouldn't really give you time to do anything else in the morning before the trip. I will contact them when I get back from work tonight to see what the problem is.

Hello Sarah
Sorry for the late reply and thank you for the update on your numbers .
Due to the high number of participants we need to make an adjustment to your sailing time and re-schedule for the 12.00 , I hope this does no inconvenience you .
Kindest Regards
Karim

I'm definitely trying to coordinate a stateroom tour! Just put stuff on the new thread.

i'm sure she'll love it no matter where she ends up. its an amazing opportunity that i kick myself for for not applying when i was at uni.

:rotfl2: I was thinking that too, it's will be the only way around it if they can;t change it back. We will look like a right bunch of alcoholics!!!!! Strolling back on the ship about 11am, rattling & clanking with all our booze! :rotfl: :rotfl:

See above :)

Hi Lorraine

I did a couple of year of basic Latin at school too and use it a lot at work, so I enjoy trying to translate it when I am there. We have been once before, so looking forward to going again, there was so much to see. I think a lot of people are going to try to climb Vesuvius on their own, but I think I'll stick to the excavations and a nice wee trip to Sorrento on the train. I love the Amalfi coast, you should try it sometime if the Magic ever comes back to Europe again :thumbsup2

Good Morning, Happy Cruisers!

Thank you for the reassurance ... I really need to get a grip.
She is working in merchandising but doesn't know where yet. She is hoping to be in one of the Parks, and would love somewhere with a themed costume.

Try not to fret, Sarah! I've known several people who've done it - and they've all learned from it. Some of them love it and go back for a second or third time (or even permenantly) and some of them say they liked it but don't need to go again.

Our new desktop comes today :dance3: The notebook is lovely, but kinda inconvenient for long posts.

Happy day, ALL!

Hey Cliffy I hope I don't keep you awake with my snoring :lmao: :rotfl2:

Lets see who keeps who up.......

Ooh is this a challenge?? :rotfl2:

Perhaps we need a competition for the loudest snorer!:scared:

:rotfl: :rotfl2:

I'm down on deck 1 too, or the non stop dis party deck as I like to call it :rotfl:
