seen on TV does it work

Oh, darn. I bought 4 of them to give as presents to a few people.

How about this thing to let you use your cell phone on your car radio? My DH bought one for someone for only $10.

That's what I was wondering in a previous post, but haven't heard anything yet. It's called the Jupiter Jack. Any reviews?

I tried the cell phone thing through the radio and took it back because my children were all into my conversation...:lmao::lmao: This would be great for someone who rides in their car alone or who wants to have a GROUP conversation...no private conversations when it is broadcast over all your car speakers:rotfl2:

Really? I remember seeing a news report about these foot detox pads and they said it was a total scam. The pads turn a darker color when they get wet (from your feet sweating, presumably). They showed it on the air when they took a dropper and wet the pads and then the pads turned the same color.

They all joke and tell me it's psychosymatic. But if I feel like I have more energy using them, I'll do so. :lmao:

We took ours to the parks and used it to wipe down seats after it rained so we weren't sitting in a puddle. Got several comments from people who wished they had brought one, too!

We brought our Sham Wow to Disney too and it came in handy several times. Last trip I was sweating so bad I put ice in it to keep myself cool and then realized I was running a fever.

You can get a package of several non Sham Wow brand for like $5 at Menards.

It worked for me :confused3. I like it... unless it's the summer when I have my fake-tan stuff on... then it rubs it off. I never used it on my arm pits.... but it works well for my legs!

Smooth Away gets rid of DS's uni-brow :rotfl2: I should buff those little hairs away soon!

Anyone get the "yudu" it a screen printer for the home? Does it work? How much does it cost?

Smooth Away was a joke! DD and I both tried it. I thought it would be good for her since she was just starting to shave. I ended up having to push so hard with it I had burn marks all over my legs!

I have the Magic Bullet. We love it.
DS20 uses it to make ice coffee lattes and salsa.
never thought about scramble eggs!

We also have snuggies and love them too.

I have the under the bed shoe thing and like it but I have small feet and I don't think it would work for some one with larger shoes.

I was wondering about the Ped Egg thinggy and the brownie pan.

Has any one tried the thing you put on your soda can and it makes it like a bottle with a top so it won't spill?

I am going to get the sham wow now for my trip bag and some to keep in the car.

I like the idea of the pancake puff pan. I bought one and we do make ableskivers in it, but I would stronly suggest getting a Nordicware brand or one of the other brands with high ratings as my pancake puff pan has so much of that nonstick stuff scraping off.

I use it about once a month and the kids always get excited when I bring it out.

You could have knocked me over with a feather when I read you post. I thought we were the only ones who knew what Aebleskivers were! My great grandparents were from Denmark and we love making these! I actually have a cast iron one that works great....but I have to double my pancake recipe to make enough for all of us as we will eat WAY more of these than regular pancakes.

As for the PedEgg - I bought one and HATED it!

Question on the Aqua globes - do they have something in them that prevents the water from just pouring out into the plant? My neighbor said she tried them and the water didn't stay in the globes so she didn't understand how that would water plants for 2 weeks???

I really thought about that one. I had it in my hand walking around. I kept looking at the box and noticed the mount for the phone isn't included. It would be a hassle to find a mount for the dash. But I liked the idea of it.

I saw the toothpaste thing at Walgreens for $10. And I think the brownie pan was $10 there too.

Okay it's been awhile but we LOVE our RONCO Showtime Rotisserie and yes my hubby makes me say the whole name each time. We make our Thanksgiving turkey in every year.

:hippie:

What an informative topic!!

I love my Ped-Egg ;)

I bought the PediPaws for my dogs. They ran like heck in the other direction...:rotfl:the next day, I took it back to Petsmart.

OxyClean works pretty well.

I can't speak for some of the other gadgets but it seems from reading the posts like a lot of this stuff is pure marketing and doesn't really work.

I bought my dd one...it works fine. We don't have soda much, so we've barely used it, but I love a gimmick.

Smooth away did not work for me. You actually had to press really hard in circles and then your arm would hurt afterwards. :confused3

YES! It was a very painful experience for me! I actually had to put vaseline and gauze on it to keep it from worsening!

Aqua Globes work great around our office - we have them in all of our plants. They do not last for 2 weeks - 3-4 days max (except our rubber tree plant - that only lasts a day; poinsettis about 2-3 days)

I have used Mighty Putty with success.

Sham Wows are garbage. Barely soaked anything up, unlike what Vince shows on the commercial.

Perfect Brownie Pan works great for more than brownies.

My brother swears by the Windshield cleaner gadget (can't remember the name)

Funny that I found this thread today. DH suggested getting a Grill Daddy brush for some friends of ours, but I have no idea if they really work. Has anyone here tried it and if so how did it work?

I like the grill daddy brush. It works well on a warm grill.

I am going to get the sham wow now for my trip bag and some to keep in the car.

I love the under the bed shoe holders. I use them in DD5's room to store and organize all her stuffed medium sized animals. 4 units can fit under a twin bed, so that is about 50 stuffed animals organized and hidden until played with.
