Second guessing our choice of MVMCP: 4th vs 6th

Ok, I chose the 4th a zillion months ago because of the AP discount but I am starting to feel (hey, must have something to panic about as I get ready to leave) that, by saving $20 or so for the family, I am sacrificing them to the bigger crowd gods.

We can change to the 6th with relatively little fuss. Do you think we should or just stick with the 4th? If we changed, I'd have to give up LTT on the 4th and that is a factor in sticking with it. :-(

Stick with your plans! The first Sunday was busy because it picked up the Thanksgiving crowd. You will make yourself insane -- just relax, enjoy the fruits of all your hard planning work, and look for me there because, yup, we'll be there on the 4th -- 5:30 at LTT and at the party! It'll be wonderful, just wait and see!

In my experience (going to MVMCP annually since 1998 on eiter a Tuesday or a Sunday), there has not been a noticable difference between Sunday and Tuesday MVMCP events. Stick with your plans and STOP SECOND GUESSING YOURSELF!

I think they only offer the AP discount on nights that are expected to be lower capacity anyway.... You will be fine! NOW...if you want to swap with me for my tickets on the 18th....then by all means let's do it!

Those are the exact nights we went to MVMCP last year - the second Sunday and Tuesday. Sunday was a bit more crowded than Tuesday - but not enough, IMHO, that I would have given up my LTT ADR to switch. Speaking of LTT, I would check in a bit early - last year it was very busy and we didn't get seated for our 5:35 ADR until about 6 - the party was already started by the time we finished dinner - LTT was very crowded with like-minded folks wanting to eat during the 6 - 7 time frame - the character interaction was awesome, though - we loved it so much we did it again for MNSSHP! I agree to go and have fun - I'll be back this year on the 4th , too !!
