Anybody there today (Sunday, 12/4) who can comment on crowds? Am interested in future days as well. Thanks in advance for your input!

(as a regular visitor, but no, not there today) I can't imagine it being too bad today. Friday afternoons, Saturday and Sundays are always busier than weekdays with locals bringing their kids to the park; so the weekdays are less crowded. I imagine, that the closer we get to christmas, the busier it will get; and with Christmas being on a Sunday this year, I imagine the week before Christmas being fairly busy, and the week after is a nuthouse. Capacity is typically hit every day during the week of christmas and new years (with the exception of christmas day, it's usually not too bad, or as bad as Disney parks, that day)

Thanks a lot, chiamarie. There have been a few posts lately about long lines on weekends.

Sunday Mornings and Sunday nights are typically not bad. Especially with school tomorrow, it won't be crowded at all starting around 7 or so and even less crowded as the night goes on until the park closes at 11.

I remember your earlier reassurances about Sunday evenings, KBF, and take great heart from them. Thank you again.

Attended yesterday (Sat) and thought park was very crowded. Every show I attended after 3pm was filled to capacity at least 25 mins in advance of start time. The ice show at Bayside Stadium was standing room only for 7:15 show. I expect to the crowds to increase from this point forward and when schools let out it will be a zoo. Seaworld mgmt should get a pat on the back for the outstanding Christmas program and decorations they have presented this year.

If you are going for the Christmas Celebration, avoid avoid avoid Saturday nights. Fridays and Sundays have not been too bad, comparatively. If there are multiple times for a christmas show, the first will always fill up moreso than the second. See the second ice skating show as right after it is complete is when the fireworks start and you get a great view from the stadium. If there is only one show for the day (sealion show) get there 30 min early even on Fri/Sun to be safe. If going on Saturday you will need to line up about 45 min early for the first showings, as they can fill to capacity 20-30 min before showtime. It can get pretty crazy. I'd imagine crowds will only get worse further into the month.

edit: forgot to mention Journey to Atlantis, Kraken, and Manta will have 0 min waits after 7pm or so, so if you can, do some rides at night while the Christmas section is busiest.

Good luck!

I just wanted to comment that I was there this past week; and during the weekdays it has been dead. It feels like you have the whole park to yourself druing the weekdays.
