Season passes to seaworld busch gardens sesame place? Is this too good to be true?

Has anyone purchased a Super Grover Season Pass to Sesame Place?

Reason I'm asking is that it looks like it is $142 a person and includes unlimited admission to SeaWorld, Aquatica, Busch Gardens and Sesame Place through 12/31/10.

Am I missing something?

We are planning to go to Orlando next month and I was thinking about going back to SeaWorld for a day. Then I came across this. Figured we could also go to Aquatica and Busch Gardens Tampa as well and then use it this summer for Busch Gardens Williamsburg?

Any help would be really appreciated!

If it is leegitimate, why not.

For example right now as a Florida Resident I can get a Sea World pass good untiul December 31 for less than the price of a one-day ticket.

I've not done this yet, but was also looking ibto it. It is 100% legit. a few caveats. You need to get the pass completed at Sesame Place before heading to Orlando, from what I understand. In other worlds you have to have the real card with your photo ID from Sesame, not a print out saying you've bought it online. Also, I don't think parking is free at any park except Sesame Place.

I could be wrong, but that it what it seems like from my research thus far.

The platinum pass is a great deal. It's actually twice as much here in Florida... I think because as a florida resident you'd be going to the four parks here more often than the one park in other states.

And yes, you need to use your tickets once at your "home" park in order for it to work when you get here.

If the Texas SW was closer to Dallas, I'd visit my aunt and buy a platinum pass there to use here. There's no residency requirements for buying a platinum pass, but the first park you use it in becomes your "home" park.

We have Busch Gardens (Williamsburg) Platinum passes...because they were even cheaper than the Sesame Place ones..and they run a true 2 years (24 months)

you aren't missing anything, it's just a good deal if you live close enough to get the passes.

You're only problem will be activating the passes before you get to Florida.
If you buy them at Sesame, you need to activate them at Sesame.
You can't bring the computer printout from sesame and activate them at seaworld or Busch Gardens, etc.

as far as I know, Sesame won't be open until April at the earliest.

We just purchased the platinum pass (2yr) from Williamsburg Bush Gardens this past Dec. We did not have time for them to mail us the pass. When we went to Bush Gardens in Florida, they just looked it up in the computer and handed us new passes. (they could see we had already purchased them) All the computers are linked. It was a great deal and we had a blast using the pass at both Bush Gardens and Aquatica and will use them this summer in Williamsburg. We loved the free preferred parking and special seating at shows.

We live 5 minutes from Sesame Place & have bought the passes a couple times in the past. They work great if you plan to visit the other parks & parking is free with the platinum pass(you also get a discount off all food & souvenirs) at all parks. We visit family in San Diego fro 5 weeks in the summer so we get to visit Sea World too,not to mention the years I sneak a trip into Disney.

We got them 1 year also because we were planning on going to Seas World and Aquatica during our Orlando visit. 100% legit and parking was included. FYI- if you get the middle level pass, the admission is 50% off at the other parks. That combined with the passes being 30% off now makes it a really great deal.

Sesame Place is open for a few special events before March... it's on their calendar. Maybe the ticket office will be open and you can get your tickets.

We are thinking of getting the Grover pass, since we were already palnning a long weekend at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and are going to Disney/Seaworld this fall. Also do I have to activate the pases at Sesame Place? My kids are really to old, but I'm close enough to drive there and activate the passes to get this deal. tia

We live near Sesame Place and purchased the Super Grover Passes last year so that we could take advantage of the Busch Gardens, Aquatica, and Sea World connection during our trip to Florida. Parking is definitely included at all parks. When we purchased our tickets (last March/April) my husband went to the kiosk outside Sesame Place and printed the tickets. Our first time using them was at BG in Virginia - we had no problems whatsoever. I believe the key is that you have to have the actual tickets from Sesame, but with the self serve machines, I don't think that is a problem.

OP - there is managerial staff that works for Sesame Place year round. It might be worth calling to confirm that the ticket machines are available year round, or if there is a way of getting your actual passes from an office before the park opens for the season. I'm sure there is an easy answer to the this question.

I've had the Platinum pass for like 8 years and it gets me into all the Sea World,Busch Gardens parks, the water parks in Virginia and Tampa and Sesame Place.The only one I can't get into is Aquatica,because I pay that pass with EZ PAY and when Aquatica opened I needed to upgrade my pass to include it,the only problem with that is that I'm still to this day paying the EZ PAY with 2002 prices,basically $12 a month and if I wanted to include Aquatica it would be like $17-$18 so I chose not to renew.It's a great deal as I feel these parks have some of the best discounts for Annual Passes like obviously the free parking,park discounts and other things like free admission the first couple of nights to Howl o Scream.They haven't done it in a couple of years but they even gave us free admission to the Sea World Luau for your birthday.

I did not have the actual annual pass when we went to Florida. I printed out the email 9that showed I purchased the annual pass online) that had a scan bar and was going to be used to turn in for my actual tickets. When we went to SeaWorld and Busch Gardens in Tampa, we went to the Customer Service booth (or whatever it is called). They then gave us a single day ticket for the park. We could go every day, but would have to go to the Customer Service again to get another ticket because we did not have the actual annual pass from Sesame Place.
We got FREE premium parking in all of the parks as well as discounts on some of the foods. We got a discount on the Dining with Shamu when I called in and told them about my annual pass.
That year we paid $140 dollars for the pass and used it for 1 day at Sea World, 1 day at Busch Gardens Tampa, 3 days at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and 3 days at Sesame Place. All with free parking and discounts. This was definitely the best deal I have ever gotten. I would do it again!!!!
