Sea World - Puffins

Hi,

Not been to Florida for 5 years, but due to go in May 2014. Our son Joshua always loved seeing the Puffins at Seaworld but they were in the Penguin Enclosure then.

Now that the new Antarctica ride is open, have the Puffins been moved or can you still view them as part of the ride experience?

Unfortunately the puffins were moved to Seaworld San Diego. Antarctica doesn't house puffins anymore.

Ahhhhh what a shame.

I suppose I could drive for 3 hours up to Scotland were there are thousands of Puffins in the wild.

Johnny and Julie Sharp, I know you didn't ask, but the Penguin ride had a lot of delays/glitches when we were there. The old Penguin Exhibit was always a highlight for our younger daughter. This year, yes you are close to the penguins as the ride lets out, but the temp is kept very cold for the penguins, so we were only able to watch them for a minute before just getting too cold. I think next year, we'll book the Behind the Scenes experience.

Yes, I'm cheap and hate to get off my wallet, but it will allow us more "penguin time", and less time in that line.
