Sea of Trees

Can someone help me understand the Sea of Trees. I thought it was a light display in the big lake, but under the show schedule, it has scheduled times. Will the trees only be lit during these times? Or does something special happen at these times? Thanks

The concept of the Sea of Trees are that the lights "dance" to Christmas music. Everything comes together.....the colours and the changing of the lights (flashing, fading in and out, etc.) are all perfectly timed and match the various holiday tunes (soft blues for the more serene songs, flashing reds and greens for the faster tempos). Its beautifully done, quite captivating, and very fun to watch.

I think some of the trees are lit during the non-"show" times, but not as spectacularly or as vividly as they are during the shows itself. You will want to grab a spot along the railing to watch, it really is spectacularly done.
