How the heck do you decide what to bring??? Although I did watch some of the girls pack their cars and trucks last year. Holy cow!!! That was amazing!

I doubt Delta and FedEx would be happy with me if I tried to bring everything.

Ladies if you are flying please remember to ship your tools, I had a friend lose her brand new cutter bees to "security hazard" even though they were packed in checked luggage!!!

I've had to cancel my plans on attending SDV this year due to a conflict of schedules at my store. But I've put away my refund for next year! Since I'm registered in 4 different swaps, I'm sending my items with a friend and she will make sure they get to the right people. We might drive up on Saturday to say hi, but not sure yet.

The saying goes...As one door closes, another opens... The day after I canceled SDV, I was asked if I and one of my teachers would like to teach on a scrapbooking cruise! After doing some quick research as the validity of the travel agency, we said heck yeah! We are so excited. I'll be post the info on a new thread.

He SDV friends-- Classes are now posted on the website!! Apparently there is a problem with reserving them though because when you fill out the form, it returns with registration ID not valid. The yahoo group has been posting the same problems. There's some pretty cute stuff---but my favorite is the little box!!

I started my gathering, packing, and organizing today. There's a useful page on the SDV site about what and what not to pack. It's great for us SDV-newbies!

I finished my packing today, now I patiently sit and wait to ship my tools and toiletries on Tuesday. I really hope the TSA doesn't give me a hard time about my bag. All of my page kits are neatly organized in groups of 5 in ziploc bags and I really don't want them to pull everything out.
