Scrubs in the Rainforest Room

Just off the Dream on Monday. Has anyone heard that they seem to be trying to phase out the complimentary scrubs they used to freely give out at Senses as part of the experience?

We always get the couples' Rainforest pass on every cruise (this cruise was #11 for us). We were on the Wonder over Christmas and noticed we had to ask for the scrub (they didn't offer) and they said we get 2 for the length of the cruise (which was fine).

This time, on the first day, I asked for a scrub and the cast member at the desk looked in cabinets and then said "sorry; we don't have them any more". I questioned her further and she was evasive. I asked if it was just that they're out of them and she said "we're not doing it for a certain period of time". The next day I tried again with a different cast member and she offered me 3 different options and simply said she'd have to "make one up" for me but was completely non-fussed about doing it. It might be that the cast member on day 1 was just lazy but another passenger saw me with the scrub on Day 2 and asked where I got it saying she had been told they don't give them out any longer when she asked as well (might have been the same cast member as my day 1 experience though...)

Anyways, just wondering if anyone else had heard anything. Small detail but it's part of the whole experience that we really enjoy.

We were on the 2/23 Fantasy sailing, and they did have scrubs daily (vanilla orange and lavender).
They do account for their cost though, because they offered us a cheaper price for the weekly rainforest pass without scrubs.

My understanding is that the scrubs are not free. You pay for them with the price of the pass -- 2 different prices.

So bizarre. This was our 11th cruise and I’ve never been quoted 2 different prices - with and without scrubs (nor was that offered as an excuse for why they weren’t made available to me). I’ve never heard that (different pricing whey and without scrubs) before

I was told that when you buy on board, the scrubs are included, but when you buy a day pass in advance you don't get a scrub - but the price difference to buy in advance was $9, which was the price of the scrub - super odd if they are phasing these out.

Hmm. I’ve never bought in advance - always buy the couples pass for the duration of the cruise so maybe that’s why?

Definitely goes along with my experience, I think.

Do you recall the 2 different prices? We are going on the March 23 Fantasy sailing and plan on purchasing the week long pass. From what I recall it was roughly $192 (+ 18% auto-gratuity) and that usually INCLUDES the scrubs. Just curious the price offered for NO scrubs for the week pass. Thanks!

You can make and/or buy a scrub for much less money than that, and much more quantity. I just bring my own.

I kind of wish they would do away with them. The oil used in them make the floor in the showers very slick.

Hi Ladies, we’re going on our first DCL Dreams in Sept 2019. This is my first time hearing about the rainforest room. Can someone tell me more about it? What is your experience. Is it laying in the contour tile in steam? What do you actually get?
