Scrapping with Swapped Items Round 20

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Can you believe this is our 20th round of doing this? That's a lot of swap items out of their baggies and into albums! :thumbsup2

Hosted by New England Eeyore (my entries don't count!)

Starts today and ends August 20

Swap items = swap items that you have received from our swapping groups!!

Post pictures of the layouts you create using at least TWO swapped items.

These are NEW layouts, not ones you have already done. Any swapped item can be used. You do not need to remember which swap or who they came from along as they came from a DIS swap.

Your pages must be 6x6 or bigger. But any size variation is welcome.

They can be single pages or double layouts, but each page must have two swapped items.

Your name will be placed in the jar for every page you create up to 15 pages. This is not a who did the most or best. It is for everyone who tries. The winning name pulled will host the next round.

If you are unable to post pictures, or don't know how, you can email them to me and I will post them for you. Just pm me for my email address!

The winning name pulled will receive something fun to be determined.

Have fun everyone!!!

Names in Hat:
MazdaUK - 7
kkbeaton2 - 15 (18 actual)

Hope to be on the board this weekend! Got lots to catch up on now that the kids projects are done.. Fair week is this week so I will need a stress reliever starting Saturday!!!! :)

What a coincidence - I've just uploaded my recent pages:goodvibes
These count as one as there's only 3 pieces in total -I made these for an everyday swap ages ago

Some Disney surprise bits which have been waiting for a home - one is Hopemax (I think) and the other could be Tinkerbeans

I make that 7 pages

Ooh, I see my stuff! The "Campout" and pieces! I'm hoping to get crafty tomorrow and Sunday...absolutely NOTHING on the calendar for the weekend!

I thought that was your stuff MM2000. :thumbsup2

Very nice pages Mazda. Thanks for using some of my stuff. :)

AWM - I not only love using your stuff, I specially arranged photos so I could use those pieces:lmao:

Morgansmom - I so loved your pieces too:thumbsup2 As I don't go to cub camp I have to get pipcs from Akela - Kicky complained that you couldn't see his face in any as he was behind bigger people, but having a bit of his hat and coat showing was enough for me to use the pices:rotfl:

LOL, I get to go camping, because I'm a leader...Sometimes, I'd rather not! But, I do get good photos...Speaking of which, one of mine was in the local paper last week, from Encampment!

Great pages Mazda! I know what you mean about having to get pictures from others for scout events. If DH doesn't go too then I'm begging others for pictures. DS will take a camera, but he doesn't like carrying it around so doesn't use it! Grrrrr!!!!!

I just finished up doing 46 pages for my scrapbook (this counts as 18 entries, as there are some pages in my slideshow that don't count).

Thanks to all of those who helped with creating my pages! :goodvibes

Hey kkbeaton2 I loved looking at your pages. I think your photography is absolutely beautiful. How did you get such great pictures inside the ride areas? Mine come out blurry or dark.

Thanks everyone for the kind words!

NemoMom07 - Thanks! On several of the rides, I have used flash (I don't use flash when other people are on the rides with me - other then my family). We go often to Disneyland, and we stay on property, so we do the early entry most of the time, so a lot of times we will be the only ones on the ride, so the flash won't bother anyone. Also, I use the Creative Memories program - Memory Manager, to fix photos. It does a really great job with fixing photos, even some that are slightly blurry. It won't fix ones that are real blurry, but if it is just slightly blurry it will work. I can also adjust the lighting in the program, so it looks as though the flash had been on. Also, my camera takes 12.1 megapixel pictures, so it does a great job with pics.

kkbeaton--LOVED your pages! Really inspired me to get to scrappin'! How did you do the Mickey ear hat on the little boy in the canoe? I'd like to do those on our title page for our upcoming trip.

Everyone's doing such a great job--can't believe we're on round 20!!

Thanks, SIOH. I just used the Mickey Font cartridge for the Mickey ears. I used the DS to match it up with the size head I was using.

bumping this up... today is the last day... I've got photos ordered so hope to definitely get in on the next round...
Great pages up again.. I came here for inspiration on the 500+ photos that are on the way to my door next week!!!!
