Hi. I was just wandering how many of yous scrap sometimes, away from home? Dh wants to take off to his parent's trailer tomorrow(an hour away) Now my brain is working a mile a minute pluss overtime. I need to make Father's day cards and get caught up on my birthday cards. But now what do I take???
Is it always this hard? I know that there will be many more times I will be doing this, this summer.
Oh then I got to plan a lunch, drinks and snacks oh my.:faint: :faint:
I just dream of the day when I plan weeks ahead and just be able to relax the day before anything.:worship:

I do on occasion. What to take? this is the basic supply list from the CKC site for the classes:

· Favorite pair of straight-edge, micro-tip scissors
· Personal 12" x 12" paper trimmer
· Favorite adhesives, both wet and dry
· Black archival journaling pen
· Paper piercer and mat
· Stapler
· Regular hole punch
· Black and brown distressing ink
· Corner rounder
· Rub-on tool

And obviously the paper you will need.

If you had the cash would you be willing to buy an extra set of the basic tools? DH does this because he travels so much, he keeps an extra shaving kit packed all the time, so swapping and moving things.

I'm dreaming right along with you! I would be on :cloud9: I just can't imagine the feeling.

Can you kit up the paper and embellishments you will need for the cards you want to make? Then you have just want you need to put them together.

Have a great time!

I take stuff to work occasionally - usually to make a card. My kit looks very much like bamb's though I often bring distress ink too.

Hi again. I just got back from the trailer and I had a relaxing, fun time. It was so nice outside, that I did my card making out on the deck,I even took my lunch out too, then DD15 came out after fishing and did some studying for her exam.
Now I think I will clean off my deck here at home so I can scrapbook outside on the nice(not too hot) days.

How did the tools and supplies go. Did you have anything that you didn't use or something that you needed and didn't have?

I'm glad it was nice there, we got rain and humidity all day. BLECH!

Every so often I go to an all day crop and pack it ALL up. I may need to get a U Haul soon :lmao: :rotfl2:

Most of my cropping is at day crops or weekend crops. I rarely crop at home since I never seem to make the time. There are always other things I need to do. So, my scrapping luggage stay packed most of the time.

This is a really great idea - thanks so much for sharing it! I'm getting ready for a scrapbooking cruise next March (not Disney, boohoo!) and have no idea what I'll need tool wise. (And I can't take it all!) I plan on taking what you've listed above, plus my cropadile and brads/eyelets, and some kits of paper (where everything matches) along with a few things I'll need to plan in advance.
