Scored a Thanksgiving Ressie - ?? about Magic Bands?

Shocked that we got it, but we just booked 4 nights in a Boardwalk studio over Thanksgiving. Our last trip was in April, and my how things have changed! I have my Disney Experience account and so far I have:

-Linked the Resort Reservation
-Linked our Annual Passes
-Reserved some dining
-Reserved our Fastpasses for each day

Now what? Do we get Magic Bands? Am I supposed to customize somewhere? If we don't get Magic Bands - how do we use the Fastpasses we reserved?

We are crazy Disney fans and veterans and this is all a bit confusing! I can't imagine the random traveler knowing what to do with all of this!

When you go to MDE, there should be a link under your profile that says Customize Magic Bands. If there isn't one, you can try to call IT and ask. It may be past your customization window though, depending on your check-in date. We check in Nov 30 and our last date is Oct 31. If that is the case, you will receive gray MBs at check-in.

We arrive on November 22 and our customization period was over that week. We received the bands two day later via UPS. My guess is you might be past your customization period. Even if you can't customize, there is no need to worry. When you arrive at the resort and check in you will receive bands. They just won't be different colors (everyone will receive the grey bands) and won't have your names on it. This is my understanding anyways. If I'm wrong someone will correct me.

I just switched a reservation with an arrival date of around 28 days. I customized my bands and they arrived by UPS in a couple days.

Thx all I figured it out! We were at 33 days a couple days ago so I was able to customize.

It's all just so new and honestly, I have no idea what the average (non-dis connected) traveler does. They must be completely lost.
