your newly re-vamped scrapbook aisle in your loca Wal-Mart?

I went there yesterday to pick up the regulars you know . . cat food, tylenol, soap etc. . . BUT, I always check out the scrapbook ailse. WOW!!! I was pleasantly surprised to see it totally revamped with individual papers $.33 each and nice ones, fibers which are on sale at AC Moore but on $6.44 here still cheaper than AC Moore, and fresh cut stickers, and loads of other new items. I'm going back to put some things on lay away for my self and of course for my SS.

How about you? I'll let you know what else I find when I go back. I wish I had an AC Moore ad to make them price match their paper sale.

HELP I have to stop shopping. There are too many new things lately. Don't you think?

May have to take run to my Walmart....I really need nothing but this stupid fiber thing is making me nuts! I used it on 2 pages now I feel I must have many colors just in case I need it again.....

Will Wal-Mart price match if you bring a printed out copy of the ad from AC Moore's Web site?

Just a thought

Well, seeing as I have to pick up some stuff at WalMart, I'll have to cvheck this out. Thanks for the tip. :D

My local Wal-Mart's scrapbook area is almost emtpy.....hmmmmmmm maybe they are going to redo it. That would explain why things are clearanced and they are not restocking. I was going to complain but maybe I will wait it out a little and see.

The WalMart closest to us didn't have anything, but last weekend we stopped in at one a little further away and I hit paydirt!! LOL

I got fibers, mulberry paper, vellum, stickers, glitter, a Sassy Scrapper photo holder and lots more! The prices are SO good! Adornaments fibers for $6-something vs. $8.99 at the LSS.

I also picked up (in the bead aisle) a nifty plastic container that holds smaller plastic containers (sort of like Tic Tac cases) that you can use to store beads, buttons, confetti, eyelets etc. It was around $4, and I've seen the same thing online for twice and triple that! :teeth:
