I think that people that take the time to notice what fat people order in restaurants are losers.

I think W is an idiot and it makes me physically ill to watch to him spew his garbage with that stupid smirk on his face.

I think the Christian music comercials with people waving their hands in the air are weird.

I hate how wasteful Americans are.

I hate 90% humidity.

I hate when people tell me to feed my kid because he is thin. Yeah I just let him starve.

I think we should have a 4 day work week and 3 weeks vacation minimum. :rolleyes1

I think tattoos are cheesy

I think the people who say they'd be bored staying home with their kids are boring people

I think that parents who say their kids are no longer welcome to live in their home past 18 or 21 are mean

I thik that a Mom dying is harder on daughters than it is on sons

I think that a miscarriage is very very sad, but to me felt more like the death of a dream more than the death of a child and i would never say that I lost a child, just that i had a miscarriage.

I believe in God and Jesus and want to believe that prayer works, but struggle daily with the fact that my prayers for my Mom went unanswered and she died of a heart attack due to chemotherapy..and if it's just that some prayers are answered but not in the way you want them to, then why bother praying?

I think that all illegal immigrants should be sent back to their home countries and I really am not interested in their sob stories.

I voted for GWB, but I think he's kind of stupid and wish we had had a better choice-I voted for the lesser of two evils. ETA:That I also think he is a good person and I'd love to hang out with him.

I think it's weird that people feel so strongly about politics that they'd cry when their candidate doesn't win.

I think it is hilarious when someone falls or walks into a door(as long as they are not seriously hurt)

I think that thinking that teachers should be paid as much as sports stars and actors is a nice thought, but come on-those athletes and actors generate all that revenue. No one is paying big bucks to watch a teacher teach.

I think that police officers are well paid and when I hear about people saying they are underpaid, I know that is not true around here where base salaries are about $100,000.

I would never give money to an animal rights group when there are so many charities focusing on humans that could use my money. I believe that people are more important than animals.

I think there is truth in stereotypes they are not just made up willy nilly--and people embrace positive stereotypes, but not the negative. It's great to say Italian people are great cooks for example.

However I also know it is dangerous to judge people on stereotypes, as on a perosn to person level they are many times wrong. My Gram, born in Italy for example was a horrid cook. ;)

I'll take a stab at it.

I hate:

People who call me ma'am

People who *know* you are waiting for their spot in the parking lot, but once inside their car, TAKE THEIR TIME in relinquishing the spot to you. That gets me everytime!

Food nazis. I'll eat what I want, thank you.

Losing tampon strings :earsgirl:

People who want you to practice what they preach

People who want to take away my reproductive rights

Most Republican politicians with the current administration being a front runner.

People that are coy and manipulative.

People that fret if they are running five minutes late.

All televangists who make preposterous, mentally ill proclaimations and credit "God". Why can't we just put them back in the mental wards, give them Thorazine and be done with their lunacy?

People who substitute honesty for kindness.

People who if you tell them you've been to the moon, they tell you they have been there twice.

People who get their jollies criticising others.

The game Candyland.

Self-appointed grammar checkers

Ahhhh, I guess that is enough bitterness for one day. Thanks for letting me share! :sunny:

I won't say hate because I dislike that word.

I dislike people trying to figure out how to get more from Disney than what they are paying for or are upset that they didn't get freebees

I dislike people who bash the CMs when they have no idea what those people go through on a daily basis

I dislike closed minded people

Okay, I'll say it. I hate people who are cruel to children or animals!

I dislike people who spit on the street or out of a car window! Ick!

I dislike people who don't flush toilets!

Okay, enough. Think calming thoughts!

I hate that people live in fear, and teach their children the same.

I don't think the world has gone "to hell in a handbasket" nor do I think that life is so much better than in pas generations. Just different.

I believe that most people want what's best for their kids...

I believe it is ignorant to see your way as the only way.

I believe that most of the movers and shakers in American Hisory were white men. Deal with it.

I think The word "hate" is overused. Hate is an ugly, horrible, awful thing. Hate is what the terrorists offer the world. Hate eats you away from the inside and destroys your soul bit by bit. We should never water down this word. I thank God that I have never known hate and I pray for those who are in its grip.

I think That many people fear organized religion because they accept the stereotypes of it. Yes, there are exceptions, but for the most part, organized religions are just groups of people trying to serve God and each other.

I think That some Churches and organized religions have beome extreme and/or corrupt. They make up the vast minority, but they do vast aounts of damage to rest of us who belong to an organized church. I think people focus far too much on these churches.

I beleive that people who base their world view soley on science have limited their world views and closed their minds. There is more to be experienced out there than science can show us and that it is unscientific to ignore the testemony of millions of people across thousands of years that they have experienced someting more.

I believe that faith is misunderstood. Most people think of faith as blind faith (beleiving without evidence). My faith is based on the evidence of my personal experience. In short, I know God to be real because I have experienced his presence and tested his promises. Faith does not automatiocally mean blind faith.

I beleive in civil unions for all (gay or straight). I beleive that marraige (a vow before God) is a religious affair and the rules for it should be set by the church conducting the marriage. In short, use Civil unions to procure the legal rights, and marriage to bring God into the union (if you so desire). The two are seprate and should be seperated.

I believe our government is far too large.

I beleive too many people live in fear. Life was never safe. Germs will usually not kill you, so why do people fear the door knob on a bathroom. The odds of someone snatching a child a no greater or lower today than they ever were. The world is not more dangerous, but we act as if it is and I don't understand why.

I think we lost something valuable when we lost our "gee whiz" attitude towards progrerss and the future.

I think the Contemportary is still modern, sleek and elegant looking.

I think Tomorrowland looked better before its retro rehab.

I thought of a few more:

I don't care who marries who. Male, female, who gives a hoot? I've seen better more compatible same sex relationships than hetereo ones. I don't care what you do, and if you are happy and fulfilled so be it.

I wish that other people weren't so afraid of gay people. There's nothing to be afraid of! They are human beings, not the devil incarnate.

I hate that my former church scammed many people out of millions of dollars and emotionally abused thousands of people. I wish I could sue for my money back!

I also hate that some of my friends are still in this church and don't get that they are being manipulated.

I wish I was more trusting of my current pastor. He's a great guy.

WoW! No flames yet! Better get my 2 cents in before this thread goes poof!

I think a woman can be strong and independent without clinging to the feminist label. We are in charge of our own destiny (as are minorities) more than people who use the feminist card think. I have been called Kike and the b word, but I focus on my goals and work hard and professionally, and good things do come. The white male is no longer our oppressor, it is not politically correct to do so.

I think the weakest majority in the US is the white males- they seem to be to blame for everything.

I am absolutely proud to have voted for GWB, and am further proud that those of us in the middle saw right through Kerry. We will not bow to the left coasts, whom I think get their information from zingy one liners on CNN.

I am anxious to work very hard to make sure Hilary never gets elected, but not because I am threatened by her strength, but rather her lack of moral conviction. She and Bill had a partnership, not a marriage, and I really believe that she is more than willing to bend the truth, and break it to get her power. I think she, like her husband before her, opens us up to potential blackmail or worse, would give weapons to the enemy (Korea) to further a personal agenda.

If you look at a political point and break it down in a logical and not idealistic way, then poof you are suddenly a Republican. Democratic ideas do not usually hold water once you get past the afore mentioned zingy one liner.

I am sick of people calling me closed minded because I believe marriage is for a man and woman, with the intention of perpetuating families. I have known gay people, and have befriended them, and I do not think they need to minimize the sacrament of marriage. It is religious. Have a civil union, go have fun, but leave the religion to the people who are heterosexual.
I too believe it is a choice, and not a gene. I have seen to many people change thier minds to think genetics is at play. One of my closest lesbian friends decided she was not any more and is married to a man and has two kids. I asked if she still liked women, and she said it was a phase. But I thought it was genetics?

I believe spanking a kid gets the point across very quickly and should be used in situations with kids who need immediate punishment. I do not believe in beating kids, but I also think timeout is a crock. I also think you don't have to spank if you are doing it right.

I believe that you can raise a good kid without begging them to do things. To that end, I think Supernanny is great for the parents that beg their kids to do things.

I think alot of people want to flame now, but they are not allowed!

ITA with EVERYTHING!

I hate when I hear that the war is killing innocent children, but the same people are for abortion. :( (I haven't heard that on DIS but somewhere else)
I hate tomatoes(sp)
I love Ramen Noodles
I dislike hippies, but they can make great music
I hate Kanye West new music video about diamonds, and he only shows a white person with a fairly small diamond, not any rappers with all there bling
I don't believe in gay marraige, but there is nothing wrong with being gay
If you're in America, learn English
I hate the projected figure that in 2010 a lot of America will be speaking Spanish :(
If your kid is misbehaving, take him outside and smack him/her. Don't try to be all soft
I hate people who sue fast food places because they're fat
Hillary Clinton-Blah
Rice would make a much better president
I'm not gonna be drafted unless women can be too. If they have the same rights, they can be drafted.
If I could vote I would vote for W.
I think WalMart is the cause of the decline of the world. However I do buy something there if it is a MUCH BETTER DEAL.
Agreed
Some Vegitarians(sp) think they are saving cows. I eat the cow for them
I need a car
I have hypothisized, based on information from a 5th grade science book, that it won't be long before we start heading for an ice age.
Bewitched was a good movie

I'm done...for now. MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Very well said! ITA ::yes::

Far too easy to use this word it seems. I'm guilty of it myself sometimes and I'll admit it. But I try not to use it/water it down.

Thanks!

I don't like when people lie about something they know absolutely nothing about in order to condemn it.,

I don't like when people “go off” on you and belittle you for something you didn’t mean to do—and then say that it doesn’t bother them anyway.

I don't like that women have rights---but those who make a conscious choice to do something—they are wrong and sending women’s lib back 100 years.

I enjoy my rights to direct my children’s education whether I choose to teach them myself or send them to public or private school or choose to involve them in activities earlier than they think is necessary.

I don't like that people assume that homeschooling is a disservice.

I don't like Tony Roma’s and will never eat their again—all because a waiter made a piggy noise for my efficient eating. I don’t care how good their ribs are.

I don't like that we must tip for good service at restaurants. Just increase the prices by 15% and increase the servers wages so that they can enjoy their jobs and not be busy kissing my butt or forgetting I exist b/c they are kissing another tables butt who ordered much more food.

I don't like that stores have sales EVERY weekend. Why not just mark everything down permanently?

Bush is starting to wear thin on me—but I have no specific reasons why. I always find David Letterman’s Bush-isms quite hilarious.

I don’t believe a television belongs in any bedroom (Except a hotel room ).

I think speaking English should be required for employment in the United States and should be required for getting citizenship or a green card.

I don't like how those support women’s rights in any form---want the government to mandate their reproductive cycle if they are on welfare. :sad2: It is wrong those who abuse the system—but I think it is hypocrisy if you don’t want a woman to be told what to do with her body—to think that it is even remotely okay in this circumstance. Not all those on welfare, have 10 babies and have more to get more welfare money.

I think abstinence education should be taught in school. Better yet—I think parents need to get off their duffs and actually explain the birds and the bees to their kids. Don’t leave it to the schools.

I don’t understand the purpose of picketing and protests. Out of all the picketing and protests—I am convinced that only a small percentage has any affect. The rest is just a nuisance.

I don't like forward e-mails that Snopes has declared untrue and urban legend 10 years ago.

I’m all for religion—but if one more person forwards an e-mail that says “Those who have faith in Jesus forward the message….those who don’t won’t” I’m going to lose it. WWJD---well, let me just put a feeler out. They didn’t have computers back when he walked on water.

I don’t think sexual orientation defines a person. So I will not judge them for it. If they are nice—I will not shun them. And if they buy me drinks, they can be my best friend (Hi RICK!!!).

I do not believe religion should be legislated. Doesn’t matter what the Bible says—if that’s the only reason to make something illegal….then I can surrender that it does not belong in our legal system.

I LOVE that I cannot finish my list b/c we are off to the beach. But I will come back for more.

Very cleansing thread, thanks OP!

edited--after reading WDWHounds post--changed all my "hates" to "don't likes"--b/c it is an awfully strong word.

But can I just say this - those police in England are awesome. It's been less than a month since the first bombings and they have rounded up a ton of suspects - our police in the United States need to take a lesson from them.

Ditto the police in Arruba.

And I hope everyone in London is safe this morning. it sounds like another incident is unfolding there.

I like a lot of the former Disers who have been banned. Whether we agreed or not. I don't believe they are evil, wicked or weeds.

I hate it when people forward email without cleaning it up. I don't need to open it a dozen times. Also please delete all but your own email address and don't forward addresses from eveyone on your email list.

Keep your hands off my guns, my bullets and out of my wallet.

Face it people, some of you are fat and you don't look good in a bikini.

I'm tired of having my intelligence questioned just because I'm a Republican and voted for Bush. I don't live in "Dumb(insert the f word here)istan"

I pay too much in taxes.

Teachers (in my area) are overpaid crybabies.

Politicians in general are almost as bad as lawyers.

Since I don't have kids, I shouldn't have to pay school taxes.

Why should my house that's worth "X" dollars be charged more in taxes than a house that's worth "1/2X"?

Just because I think someones sexual preferences are "icky", doesn't mean I'm intolerant or a 'phobe.

PLEASE!!! Turn down the music in your rice burners! I don't like to feel my *** vibrate from half a block away. And if you become DEAF, oh well and don't even THINK of suing anybody.

Tailgaters... People who think they are above the rules of the road. "KEEP OFF THE SHOULDER" means just that. "YIELD" also means just that. "NO PARKING - FIRE ZONE" well, you get the idea.

Rude people.

Cell phone users in public places that have signs "turn off your cell phones".

I hate that I'm working 40 hours a week already and I'm only 19. Money shouldn't be this important.. (but hey, it bought me those tiffany earrings last week)

I hate that I'm transferring to a $20,000 a year college from a $36,000 a year and I LOST credit transferring...ensuing 2 summer classes.

I hate that I get nervous in airports now flying to school. I think that racial profiling should be allowed in these cases.

I hate the way the war on terror is going. The troops need to come home.

I think that religion should be a personal decision and hate Jehovah's Witnesses or any group that pushes their decision on others.

I hate how old women come up to my mom when our family is together and praise her for being a "good Catholic" because we have 6 kids. No, we're not Catholic and I don't want to be.

I hate depression and I wish I knew how to help someone afflicted with it.

I hate that gay unions can't be accepted.

I am pro choice and believe that sex before marriage is a good thing as long as you use birth control.

I hate that people overemphasize the effect of a few beers on a late highschooler. They're going to college soon, it's not that big a deal. I did it and I'm not drinking 24-7 in college.

I like seeing all the older people that go to my gym and knowing that people are taking care of themselves.

I love Subway for making a relatively healty fast food oppertunity.

I don't think kids need video games, computers, or a TV in their rooms.

I hate people that take advantage of fender benders to sue for thousands.

I love this thread!

Because now we have 24 hour a day coverage of sensationalistic rubbish. This wasn't the case not so long ago. Instead of having worrisome news covered an hour a day, it's covered every hour a day, every day. No wonder people get scared.
