I saw a guy in a speedo ride the Kali River Rapids. Let me tell you it was WAY TOO MUCH TO SEE.

My wife got the joy watching him undress before getting on the ride. She didn't enjoy that much either...

Any similar experiences???

Not on Kali but at Typhoon Lagoon. We went in very late August/early September and there were a lot of people from Europe. Saw way too many men in speedos and way to many large women in bikinis that shouldn't have been. Yuck!

Hee hee!! This reminds me of the British guy we saw at Roaring Fork a couple of years ago. We were having lunch and he walked in wearing only a Speedo and black combat boots. Ack!! :crazy2: Not exactly what you want to look at while eating!!

It got even more bizarre when his son (around 9 or 10) walked in, dressed *exactly the same*.

Not an image I wanted burned into my brain!!

:earseek: Man, I always miss the good stuff;) . Susan

We just returned. At Typhoon Lagoon, we saw some SIGHTS that could burn the retinas right out of your eyes.

We saw one woman who was clearly in excess of 300 lb wearing a tiny bikini. While I applaud her self-confidence, it was really strange to see.

Unbelievable!

Reminds me of an old neighbor...one day that spandex will explode! LOL:earseek:

No guys, but we saw one poor woman who was wearing a pastel yellow dress getting off. She was trying to hold the dress away from her, and she was tearing up. My friend said he didn't think she had anything on underneath.

Poor thing.

We've seen our fair share of speedo's at the pools and such. I am sorry but it cracks me up!!! :p :p :p . I know in many places it's the fashion trend. I guess because we don't see it at home I can't believe the number we do see especially on Disney travels. I wouldn't of been able to keep a straight face.

I think europeans do things a little differently.....

On a recent trip to Anguilla (a british island in the caribbean) I witnessed the most unbelieveable thing...it also involved a 60's ish british man in a speedo on the beach:scared1:

I watched this man in a very small and, uhhemmm, droopy speedo come out of the water to dry himself off with a washcloth! I do not mean dry as in pat dry ,I mean get every nook and cranny and every inch of his body dry....he put the washcloth down his tiny speedo, dried himself off front and back, if you know what I mean, then proceeded to scrub his armpits with it then he blew his nose into it then handed it to his wife who put it into her beach bag. He even wrung it out a few times in between for optimal dryness

Now that's one handy dandy washcloth!

I would not have watched this but they were not far in front of us on the beach, i thought my husband was going to throw up.

I've seen women wearing white t-shirts with no undergarments on these rides. Let's just say there are things I saw where no man has gone before.

I know that some body shapes do not really lend themselves to wearing speedo's, but here in the UK they are the norm. When children learn to swim here, they are not allowed in most cases to wear swim shorts. My son is a competative swimmer and we thought it was really strange that you don't sell speedo type trunks in many places, we were hoping to pick up some bargains, as they can be quite expensive here in the UK.

When we were in Antigua, most of the tourists were from Europe. Speedos on men of every shape were very common. That didn't shock us as much as the women in one peice bathing suits. One peice = bottoms only!! My husband had a tough time of it on the beach...LOL

gonga - OMG!!!    Well I now know that I could skip breakfast!

On our last trip to TL, we had a group of German visitors change into their bathing suits right on the beach!!! I thought they would be told about this type of thing by travel agents.
