Savings on Elf on a Shelf

Our kids got letters the day before Thanksgiving telling them to be on the look out for some elves that they have been chosen to help keep during the holiday. They showed up black friday in a basket by the fireplace while we were out shopping.

The first night they explored and left little post it notes on every thing (saying like coffee yuck on the coffee pot w/ some coffee grounds spilled) on the fan pull "we went around and around" I was at work so I left mom, dad and DH in charge and they did a great job. The next night they were in the upstairs hall playing cars and this morning they were found each reading a christmas book to their boys' stuffed animals. I found our advent calendar so tonight they will set that up/

I found a really cute elf at Kirklands last week. He is about 12 inches long and he has wire throughout his body so that he can change his position and makes it easier for hanging him from places and sitting him up. He was $5.99 and 25% off. My kids are loving him!
