I meant to post this last night.

Who is taking SAT's today? DD just left to go take them. She is a junior and this is the first time that "counts".

Any teens here who would be taking them have probably already left now.

My DD's in the same situation as yours, Carol....a junior taking them for the first time that it "counts" .
And she got her driver's license yesterday so it's a big weekend for her !
Some schools in NH (not ours) cancelled the SATs this morning - we're having yet another storm...snow/sleet/freezing rain on top of the 6 inches we got yesterday!
So I made DH drive her over in his truck "so she wouldn't have to be nervous about the ride over as well as the test"
(really so MOM wouldn't be nervous about her driving across town in the storm)

Ann, that is a big weekend.

My DD got her license in December and we are only getting drizzle, so I let her drive. The school where the test is given is about 15 minutes away, but in the next state. She and a friend are going to Waffle House after. DD wasn't nervous at all. She took the SAT in 7th grade and has taken the PSAT twice, and took an SAT prep course last summer.
