Sassy Somethings - Happy November

I'm not big into Halloween decorating because I'm a scardy cat and don't like all that scary stuff. Give me cute little pumpkins and friendly scarecrows and I'm good.

Tricia, would you be thinking that if you were a crow?

Poor Heckle & Jeckle:guilty:

Afternoon!

Becca, hope you're feeling better! I can't believe the Queen of Purell and her royal subjects caught a bug! Perhaps next years bounceback trip will involve Hazmat suits?

Wilma-- glad you climbed out of your pit of doom (a.k.a the Horde of Laundry and Anklebiters). I'll be riiiiiight over to do your laundry.:rolleyes1

Julie-- how was that bike ride? And we have YET to go camping with the 500 bucks in gear we bought this spring.:sad2:

Tricia-- Perfect or not, glad you found a dress! I don't put up much in the way of fall decor either, but not out of fear. We never hand out candy-- neither DH or I like to miss Trick-or-Treat with the boys, so I feel bad duping kids with a decorated house and no candy!

Heather--- So glad Kate is back in school! I know she had to be bored out of her mind.

Judi-- I'm with you. Neither of my boys is a shopper, so I do the buy & return routine. Yup, it's a hassle, but better than having whiny, complaining boys with me!

Off to run some errands--- we're on the one week countdown to the wedding/DL trip in Cali, and have sooo much to do. We all need haircuts, my eyebrows need a hedge trimmer, kids need outfits for rehearsal dinner... I could seriously list 4 pages of To Do's in the next week!:scared1:

Morning folks.

Kelsie took my car to school today so I'm stranded with a vehicle. Her friend is home sick today and she brings her to school. I was only going to Walmart today so that can wait till Thursday. I hope to be around more today so let's chat. :chat:

I've already decided to clean out a cabinet or two today. Our med. cabinet which is in the kitchen is so cluttered that every time I open it something falls out. I'm on a mission to de-clutter that sucker.

Good Morning Tricia

Cabinet cleaning is a thank-less job. Only you can tell anything has been done. Check dates~toss. :rotfl:

We have the most beautiful rainbow this morning. Nice daylight suprise.

Good Morning!

Kate's first day back was success. She was in a great mood when she got home. The weather is getting nicer too so afterschool she went to the neighbors house and jumped on the trampoline. I am thinking of getting one for Christmas.

I have the same problem with my cabinets Tricia. The medicine cabinet is abd and so are the ones with pots and pans and the tubberware. *shudder* I dont; wnat to think about them:scared1:

HOpe you are feeling better Becca......

Hope ya;ll have a great day!

Heather I'm glad to hear that Kate's first day back went great. It must be nice seeing all of her friends again.

Well the medicine cabinet is all clean and neat now. Let's see how long it will stay that way. It always amazes me how many expired bottles I had in there.

Heather, glad Kate had a good first day back. :goodvibes

Tricia, did you make the list of what you now need to replace, so it can expire again. After all the CDC says it should be in there:rolleyes:

Can I go home and go to bed please?? I would, but I just missed last Tuesday for my steroid injection and feel guilty taking off again. It's a bummer working when you don't feel good. :sad2:

Angie, is there a doctor you can go to for a second opinion

Angie I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. Is the shot just not working? I agree with Judi, maybe it's time for another opinion here.

Nope, not the back today. The shot worked GREAT!! I'd say I'm at least 40% better! I have to call the Dr. later today to discuss how I'm feeling and possible future injections. Today I just have a horrible headache that started about 2:00 am. When I get these it also upsets my stomach and makes me feel a little nauseated. And nothing seems to make them go away but time, so I just have to wait it out. :sad2:

Sorry you don't feel well, Angus! I hope you are on the mend really soon!

Mr. Judi made the store run.. Who wants: Reese's, KitKat or Butterfinger.

Good evening, Sassies! Thanks for the Rosh Hashanah salutation, Judi! We actually had a dinner last night with more than just an entree and salad for dinner in honor of the New Year. I think the family had forgotten that I could make side dishes! We lit the sabbath candles and turned the lights down low, the kids thought we were something fancy!

Tricia, I read about your shopping adventures and wonder what happened to my love for shopping:confused3 . Perhaps the internet had something to do with it?

Angie - are you feeling better?

Heather - glad that Kate is back in school. Did Joey appreciate his sister's presence over the unplanned break? Will this lengthen their school year tremendously or will they just write it off?

Shannon -  woo hoo for DL! I had not realized it was coming up this soon. Will you go check out the Tiki room for me? I hear it is the "old" show, not the "new and improved one" they have at WDW. I am fond of the old corny one, I must say!:goodvibes

Bonnie - what's up? Your little monsters behaving themselves? We had a staff meeting today and I found out that there are 4 kids in the school who have Dads in Iraq (We have a branch of the JAG school here). One of the students is mine, but she actually did better today. So sad.

Hi Julie and Kimmy!

See you all tomorrow!
