Afternoon Sassy types!

Angie, I was too skeert of the needle to get an epidural. I went with natural child birth so I'm no help! Although I knew my pain would be over fairly quickly, in your situation I think I would belly up and have the shot. Your pain probably won't pop out of your vajayjay.

Shannon, get out and go camping! You are running out of summer. I'm not a winter camping gal, unless we head south that is.

We're heading for the beach the 24th-31st, so I think we're out of time to go during summer. Fortunately, here in VA, weather stays nice well into October, sometimes even November. Not 80 degrees, but nice enough for camping. So maybe we'll go after school starts. Who knows... Maybe we'll have to save it for spring.

Angie I had an epidural three times. I didn't think it was all that painful. At least you knew in a few minutes you would be pain free so it was all worth it. You'll do fine.

Angie, checked my records, Mom had an epi with the last surgery. They've gotten much better over the years, so says the nurse and the paperwork they gave me.

Cole didn't give me time to test it out.

If there's any poppin going on, we do need pictures.

Did ya'll see our main man Michael last night. I have to say I thought he was going to lose that race. Well not lose but come in second. Of course he pulled it off because he is well Michael Phelps. Go USA!

ETA: For all you Pie Hole ladies, wth is going on over there? My threads keep disappearing (including a smoking hot pic of Phelps for Angie), and when I tried to edit a post, I got a pic of a cartoon guy, with an error reading that said You've been 404'd. Ummmm, ok?

Problem with the system since July. But the 404 game has been around forever. Click on the computer guy and it's a game you can play. They're working on a fix, still

No thanks! At 23, I was broke, my DH was in class night & day, and I was chasing around a 2 yr old. And sadly, my body looks waay better today than it did then! I'm liking 31.

Happy Monday, Sassies!!

Hope y'all had a great weekend! I did, but I mainly chilled at home. Yesterday I went to the mall and did a bit of shopping and had lunch by myself at Chili's! Good times, man! I talked on my cell phone the whole time though...I seem to recall a thread a while back about losers dining alone and talking on their cell phone the whole time. Well....that was me!

This week is gonna be a busy one. Today we are going to the pool, tomorrow we are going to Six Flags to see Katy Perry perform ("I kissed a girl and I liked it"), Wed is Caitlin's middle school orientation & Caitlin's hair appointment (cut & partial foil), Thursday I MAY be going on a hillbilly hunt, and Fri is Heather's high school orientation. Summer's just a-flyin'!!


Shannon, I agree, I would not wanna be 23 again. The 30's rock!

Judi, got your mom's card yesterday! The girls and I were thrilled!! I just sent out one to your mom too.

Becca, how was camping?

Bonnie what is a hillbilly hunt? Could be fun but I've never heard of that.

Yesterday we went to a family BBQ in Mississippi. Lots of fun but it kept raining on and off. The kids were disappointed but they had a pool but lightening kept popping so out they came.

Well, a hillbilly hunt is something I made up. We are gonna go off into the hills of West Virginny and go find some hillbillies. I have always wanted to see a genuine hillbilly with funky teeth who sits on the porch and plays the mouth harp. Maybe try some moonshine too.

Good morning, Sassy Things! I am Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!

We got back from Hilton Head last night. It was a great week! Sneaky Mr. FofP surprised us on Monday with a trip to WDW! He'd been planning it for about 6 months, and none of us were the wiser . It took me the entire 5 hour drive down to Orlando to believe that we were really going. Anyway, we stayed at AKL villas - they were wonderful, I would highly recommend it. We spent an afternoon at Sea World and two days in Disney (going fairly commando and seeing all 4 parks). The highlight of the trip was being picked to be the First Family of the Day for the Toy Story Mania ride . Man, that is one great ride! I can't wait for us to all go on it in February!

When we got back to Hilton Head, we spent a few days bumming around the beach and then headed to Charleston for my second surprise, a family trip to see Springsteen. My IL's took us all - it was a FANTASTIC concert - much better than the one he gave here. It was a riot to see my FIL getting his groove on. Barney had a blast, dancing all night. BamBam saw about half of it and then konked out in his chair .

So, what's up here? Judi, be the Update Queen again will ya?

Bonnie - If you get lucky on your hillbilly hunt, take the card of your orthodontist along, okay? A good ortho may be hard for those hillbillies to find, I would say!

Angie - I had an epidural (twice!) with my first delivery. It wasn't a picnic, but it wasn't the worst either. They both slipped out of place and I ended up with a spinal instead. That won't happen to you, though, because they just need to inject and get out, not stay in and deliver anasthesia. I'm glad they have a treatment for you to try besides surgery! I hope you feel better soon!

Good luck with the WW, Tricia! You can do it, girlfriend!

I bought a Christmas gift today. Colin has been saying that he wants all the Star Wars DVD's. Yesterday Walmart had a flyer in the Sunday paper advertising they would have all six movies. I think because some Star Wars cartoon type movie is coming out at the theaters. Anyway I went today and bought all six. I can now check one gift off for Colin.

Welcome back FoP family. Surprise Disney trip

Mix up at the oncologist today, have to go back tomorrow. So Mom decided she needed to GO OUT TO LUNCH INSTEAD.

This would be her first outing other than a doctor.

She finally noticed people in wheelchairs, walkers, O2, at the restaurant. Yes, Mom, people go out.
