Same here Heather. Judi, Mother Nature needs a good talking to because I really think she's got the seasons mixed up by you.

The hospital that Scott works at full time might have to close. They are looking for someone to buy them out. He said there is going to be a meeting about it today. The company that owns that hospital owns about 8 others and they have already had to shut one of them down.

Just when Scott finds a part time position, he is now going to have to look for a different full time position. On the plus side, it is possible for Scott to get enough hours at his part time job to support us and we can Cobra our insurance so there won't be any gaps. Hopefully, the hospital won't close but with our luck , we don't wnat to take any chances.

We traded the Cars Wii game for Mario Kart and it is lots of fun. So far, I think we would enjoy buying Cars, Wall-e, and Mario Kart (one of these days ). I tried to get Boom Blox, but they only have 2 copies and it was all checked out

And it might all work out for the best. Maybe he can find a really really good full time position and no have to have the part time positiona t all. If he could go back to 3 and 4 day work weeks then I could get a part time job too.

I know it isn't much and isn't necessarily a career type move, but I realy want to work at one of the little photography studios....at least for a little while. I think the training and the experience would be good for me....and of course being around people would be nic e too. Then maybe I can get serious about actually earning a living taking pictures and working for myself.

Joey has informed me more than once in that impatient little voice only a 3 year old can do that we need juice so we have to go to Walmart and look at the toys.....now what toys have to do with needing juice, I don't know Maybe buying juice makes a Walmart trip respectable?

I hope you have a great time at your camperless camp-out Judi and Cole!! I know you could really use a night out. 39 degrees??? Holy cow! It was already almost 90 at 5:00am here. Course we are about as hot as the surface of the sun...

Heather~sorry about Scott's job!! But I am a firm believer in the old "don't count your chickens before they hatch" saying. He still has his job, so don't stress too much until you have something to stress about. And maybe he can get really serious about looking for a new full-time position that will pay more and then he won't have to work 2 jobs. I'm surprised-they are always looking for nurses here. There's a serious shortage. And there was when we lived in Vegas, too.

Becca~how did the haircut party go the other night? Now I'm craving sloppy joes, so I think I'll have to make those this weekend.

Tricia~are you guys having a big bbq at your house this weekend? And are you going to see any fireworks? Do they shoot off fireworks over Lake Ponchartrain?

Hey hags! I am having a busy day today! I worked till 9,then went and got my nails filled, a pedicure, and a lip & eyebrow wax. Now I have to make pasta salad for a party we are attending tonight, then Bubba and I are going to see Hancock. Bubs skived off work today, just cause he did not feel like going. Party is at 5:30.

I'm good-who wouldn't be right before a 3 1/2 day weekend?? Only 2 1/2 more hours! Gertie is absolutely bouncing off the walls today. I think she may be a little manic depressive. It's only a 3 day weekend-you're not going off on your dream vacation of a lifetime-chill chicky!
