Buon Giorno! I felt the need to class things up around here by speaking Italian. I love all things Italian, and want to learn the language and also visit there. Heck-I'd move there if I could!!

Wilma~no, fireworks aren't legal here. Not that anyone pays attention to that. It's pretty scary-we already have some wildfires burning; I hope no new ones are sparked by idiots with fireworks. I did get your check-thanks! I keep forgetting to call and upgrade us to preferred. I don't think there will be any extra charge for that now since we already paid the highest rate they charge. Misha (our female we had to put down last December) was DEATHLY afraid of fireworks, but the 2 we have now don't seem to be too bothered by them. But Sierra seems to be scared of more and more things lately (DH tooted last night and she ran like she'd been shot!! :rotfl:

), so we'll see how she does.

Julie~welcome back!! Sounds like you've been busy. How big is your yard??

Are you watching the Olympic trials? I have really been enjoying seeing the guys in their Speedos! :thumbsup2

Took Mom to see our family doctor today. He is calling Hospice.

Oh Judi! I am so sorry. :hug:

Hospice is really helpful though. And you can talk to them about anything. We had nurses come in several times a week to help out and answer questions.

How do you feel about her going to a hospice Judi? As others have said, you can't feel guilty-you've taken wonderful care of her. I wish there was something I could do... words seem very inadequate. :hug:

Afternoon, Sassies! Went to the $1 kid movie, it was great, of course, I love Waterhorse. Next week's is Alvin and the Chipmunks. Shannon and her kin folk are going with us! :cool1:

On the way home we stopped at Hallmark so the kids could look at Webkinz. The Webkinz of the month is Cheeky Monkey. They begged me but I held firm. I did, however, get me two packs of adorable notecards, which I'm gonna be needing.

Did I tell you guys I signed up to be a Senior Angel? It's thru the chemo Angels program, but I thought the Senior one would be a bette match because It seems like there are an awful lot of lonely seniors out there. Anyway, we made a commitment to send a card, or letter or the occasional small gift once a week to our Senior. I have not been assigned my person yet, it takes 4 to 6 weeks to receive their name and info. But we are excited about it.

Good morning sassies! I'm going to take the kids to the zoo today. It's been quite a while since we've been and we feel the need to see some four legged friends.

Wilma have a great time in NJ. We aren't going away for the 4th. I guess we'll just be hanging around and BBQing.

Ok, I can talk again. Y'all knew it wouldn't last long.

Angie, hospice will be brought in here. They will not be moving her. As things progress, hospital equip. and such will be brought in.

Our doctor was very straight forward with her today. I have the utmost respect for him. Chemo is still an option, but she understands it's not a cure all. Most of the new foo-foo meds have been discontinued. I have been pming with Mrs. FoP, while I was cutting meds, and low and behold the doctors finishes the list for us

I am still a firm believer that prayers changes things, and for all of yours I am so very grateful.
