NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

Ended at 13. That maxes my new BoA card. So expect them up go on sale tomorrow. Hah.
I’m so annoyed. I bought 3, and went back a few days later to buy 2, and I got capped at 1. Maybe I should have started with 1 or 2?

(Eta- happy for YOU, of course!)

I did 1 and then 3. A couple times. Then one at a time trying to see if a fetch offer would work. Hah.

Target giving me 0 circle offers today. Where it typically says "You have 3 new offers", all it says is how much rewards I have. Disappointing.

You are not alone!

My feeling is there might not be as many offers right now, as a lot of people have the college or teacher offer for 20% off one order through August 30.

If you have Target Circle 360, the August Freebie should post to your account on Friday which is August 1.

Anyone know if this works on ticket upgrades? I’m going to upgrade my daughter’s ticket to an AP for an upcoming trip in January and would have to call Member Services as we’re DVC, but I would hope since she’s never had one it counts.

It will work if it's a brand new AP. I've done it twice, using 3rd party tix, with no issues.

Just helped some fam members upgrade tickets for a trip later this year this weekend! They processed them in individual transactions, but no issues, you need everyone's bday and MDE email. GC was received within an hour or two.

The AP needs to be a new AP, the person doesn't need to be new to having an AP. Basically, it's only saying you can't renew your current AP and get the deal. Everyone I upgraded had APs that expired a few months ago.

Question about Target Red Card. I have a "20% off one in-store or online purchase" offer but it says "Gift cards and taxes will not be included in determining purchase total. Does Target consider Disney gift cards to be gift cards? I mean... I know they are, but I also know that sometimes I can purchase them even when the shouldn't be valid because they don't scan as gift cards. Any idea? (I'd be purchasing online).

I also have a $10 reward when spending $80. What would be the best way to use these offers, or in what order? I am new to this and want to save some money on our all-too-frequent Disney trips! Here are the 2 offers in my account:

The 20% isn't going to work on any gift cards, Target or 3rd party. It's also going to exclude a bunch of brands (off the top, I know Lego from a prior experience) and I think even weird things like dairy. So, if you have physical goods you need to buy that aren't excluded, have at it.

The get $10 in rewards when you spend $80 will work on Disney gift cards. If you just want to do DGC, you end up needing to buy $100 for the $10 to credit. Or you can do $75 in GC and $5 of something else for the system to give you the $10 rewards.

The rewards can't be used towards GCs either, only physical goods.

Hmmm.. so not the great deal I was hoping for. No surprises there, I guess. My usual plan of attack is to do BJs when they have a sale or a "buy more, get more" deal that I can use or Sam's when they are on sale, with Target red card as my 5% back-up if I need more cards. I guess I could do buy a Disney gift card using my red card (so $95 for a $100 gift card) and then use the rewards towards something. I don't really shop at Target and don't have a cell phone so some of their deals aren't available to me anyhow (as you have to use the app). However, I always need something, and "free" is "free" even if it's not strictly money off Disney!!

Thanks for the quick reply!

For the target rewards I save up for the year and use towards Christmas presents. Just an idea!

My daughter is 10 so I own her account but I'm going to call now.

How long did folks wait for the electronic gift card? Member services said 3 to 5 business days.
I upgraded hoppers to DVC Sorcerer APs on Tuesday morning by calling MS, and the $75 DGCs were in my inbox a couple of hours later, maybe less.
