It takes 2 hours to get to Detroit so thats not too bad. I realized Justin has no school tomorrow because the afternooners are going on the all day field trip! So, I just have to keep Brendan out of school. The last time they won the cup was the year Justin was born, so its been awhile!

Bonnie, you can be eeyore all you want, but I'm going to be an extra perky annoying character to cheer you up! You better get it out of your system because you can't be doom and gloom at our meet that will be here before you know it!

I'm posting and running, its my and Brian's 15th wedding anniversary today and he will be home soon. We aren't doing much, but the twins mom brought us a bottle of wine and 2 Waterford wine glasses. It was so nice!

Good morning! Its downright hot here now, why can't I ever be happy? We go from freezing to the 90s. I wish to find somewhere to live that is 75 all year round!

Yeah, Cole is done now with school! Justin has 3 1/2 days and Brendan has 4-1/2 days if I count today! They are ready to be done.

Cole will be spending a weeK with Aunt Becca this summer, then at least a week at Kimmy's, cause Kimmy's single and so am I.
She even went as far as wanting to log in and except the invites in person.

Cool, the boys will be happy to have a teenager around for a week. They miss Brittany. Egads I hope she's single!

No parade for me, I decided it would be a zoo downtown and Brian had to go to work today since he was in Cleveland all week and he is my driver in downtown Detroit.

Yay Bonnie!! All it takes is for the first person to take the plunge and others will follow soon! I would have already purchased my ticket if DH would stop going back and forth!! It's still so far away though! Well, we have lots of time to make all our plans and get excited.

Good afternoon, ladies! I have been an absent Sassy lately - sorry about that. I finished school yesterday and pretty much spent the rest of the day running around, shuttling kids here and there to further promote their social lives and physical fitness. I am soooooooooo glad to be done! The students were quite squirelly at the end there. I'll have to keep that in mind for next year and get a bigger bag of tricks. Or, I could hire Cole since it seems she is looking for something to do. Maybe she'd dye her hair rainbow colors and teach the kids some dance moves. What do you think, Judi?

It's blazing hot today - around 98 degrees. Two days ago it was in the 70's - go figure. We spent the morning at the pool, thank heavens Barney's 5:30 a.m. nonsense doesn't start until next Monday. 7 a.m. is a lot more palatable. Today will be filled with laundry and cleaning; plus packing for the swim meet this weekend. Bonnie - we'll be up in Manassas at the Freedom Aquatic Center. I'd come visit but I have to officiate all day.

Becca and Judi - congrats on the Wings win! Has the town calmed down yet? Congratulations on the 15 years too, Becca - that's a nice long stretch! Mr. FofP and I will celebrate 15 next year but it definitely doesn't seem that long.

Tricia - How's things? How is Kelsie's driving going?

Angie - Bonnie tells me that you are going to be a granny. When is the big event supposed to take place? You'll be a swinging grandma, I know it!

Heather - think of yourself not as Mean Mom, but Responsible Mom! It's all in how you spin it. Is this Kate's last day? Has Joey had any noteworthy escapades lately?

HI Angus! I know, it's a little scary being the first one. That's why I bought trip insurance for the first time in my life! I know, it's WAY early, I just have a phobia of expensive airfare, cause then my DH would tell me I can't go. I was more than happy to pounce on it, once he gave me the green light. Now he can't change his mind!

Sorry Dwight is going back and forth. Next time he is leaning toward letting you go, try being extra "delight"-ful and then go purchase your airfare! This is an expensive trip, so paying for things a little at a time really helps! That's what I did last meet and it worked out well. It's hard paying for things all at once, especially since it is so soon after Christmas.
