Saratoga Waitlist Question

Hi. I'm looking for a studio at Saratoga for Friday, October 13 to Monday, October 16.

The standard view is available Friday and Sunday, but not Saturday.

The preferred view is available Saturday and Sunday, but not Friday.

For what it's worth, there are 264 standard studios and 168 preferred studios.

Which one do you think has the best chance of coming through on a waitlist?

I'm not certain we have enough info to know the relative demand but overall they should be about the same and both would be one weekend night. If you have enough points without borrowing, book both and waitlist both if you have the slots. Otherwise, I'd take the one you prefer, I'd think the chances of finding the one night close to 100% if you wait list and peak at the availability periodically.

Just thinking ahead to the possibility that no waitlist fills (even though I think it's likely it will happen) I'd prefer to have 2 nights booked in a row with no gap so I'd book the preferred and waitlist that one Friday night to add on. Then I'd also do a second waitlist for all three nights in a standard view to replace the 2 nights in preferred and wait and see what matches first.

Or as Dean mentioned, if you have the points book both and waitlist the gaps then cancel the second one when one matches.
