Sara & Ryan's Wishes PJ & TR ~ 8/17/10 WP/GF/Marina ~ 1/22 Thank you!

Ooh your countdown is so close now! You must be so excited! :cool1:

Your welcome bags look really cool and so helpful for your guests.

If you have the time and budget,it would be great to do the kids a favor package - they will love it and if it keeps them entertained during photos, speeches, etc, then it is well worth it. ;) The parents will be really grateful too! (I had about 15ish kids at my wedding (I have a big family) and we just bought the older ones a notebook and pen each and the younger ones cars, little dolls, etc and they were all really pleased and the parents thought it was really good of us to think of them! :thumbsup2)

I hope your foot starts feeling better and that it is ok. Try not to worry too much as the next few weeks will be so exciting and you need to think of all the happy stuff :)

Can't wait for your next update.

So I just spent the last few days catching up and I have to say, you are very creative and talented! I might be a tiny bit jealous of your abilities.
Everything looks so great! :worship: You must be getting so excited!!!!!

Everything looks great, sorry to hear about your foot though, I hope you get that sorted quickly.

Thanks Claire, it seems to be getting better so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. ;)

OK I might break down and buy a Cricut! :lmao:

Your DIY projects are beautiful! Can't wait to see it all come together in the end! Love the tears of joy packets and the CD is great, the songs in there are a bunch of DH's and mine favorites too!

I am still debating what to do for favors :confused3

I hope they can figure out what is wrong with your foot, I am worried it hasn't healed already after all this time, will keep my fingers crossed so it gets all better in time for your day.

If you're into crafts, the cricut is really amazing and I think has been totally worth it. You can find some good deals on ebay, that's where I got mine.

Thanks so much! I really love how the cd's came out, I hope our guests enjoy them too. I know, I can't believe it's so soon and pretty soon I'll be have real pictures to share. :goodvibes

Favors was the hardest thing for us. DF didn't like anything. Then we thought about doing something "Disney" but everything was a little expensive, we did think about little coffee packs, they had them at the disney store website, three packs for around $8 which would have been cute.

I went to the dr this week and so far it seems to be getting better, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed too.

Just caughtup and read your whole PJ. I love all your DIY items, you've inspired me to crack on and start some invite work now!

Thanks so much! I hope it goes well with your invites :), definitely don't wait to the last minute with everything like me! Lol, I have a lot of ideas but am such a procrastinator.

Everything looks spectacular! I love the idea for the tears of joy packets! Too cute!

Thanks so much, I just kept thinking about them and had to make them, people better cry at this ceremony so they get put to use :rotfl:, or at least take them with them and use them when they have a cold. ;)

I love the CD labels and your welcome bags! Your guests are going to love getting them! It was a great idea to get the boxes for the dessert party, they are really cute! Less than a month to go!

Thanks! Yeah, I really didn't want to do the welcome bags but it was a fun project and I do love getting them ;). The boxes are really cute in person, and cheap too, which is good in case people don't end up using them. Now to smuggle them into the dessert party . I know, in three weeks we leave for Disney!

oh i love the cds! they came out great. DF did a very good job with the songs! the welcome bags look perfect. even if you can't get anything to print on the bags the little tags are very cute and I think give it plenty of themeing. the boxes for the dessert party are perfect! its a great idea because I have read a lot of people have so much left over and then they can't eat it all!

yay 1 month! thats so exciting

Thanks! Lol, it was his masterpiece, now he just needs to finish burning them! I think you're right with the bags, most of our guests are not crazy into Disney like we are, so they probably would rather just a plain bag they can use again. I know, I think it's a crime that desserts should go to waste! Well it's not going to happen on my watch! :lmao: Lol, I'm also concerned with not being able to eat everything myself, so I know I'll at least pack things up for later. I can't believe it's almost here!

The CDs came out great. What a nice favor idea. I really enjoy looking at all your DIY projects. I wish I thought about boxes to take food from my DP-there was so much left over. I did not think you would be allowed.

I hope your foot feels better soon!

Thanks Stephie! We've been to a wedding in the past that had them and we actually still have that cd. I think officially you are not allowed, but if you just happen to be there and have boxes and your guests are taking food, I don't think they stop you. ;) It's doing a lot better this week, so I'm keeping my hopes up.

Everything looks awesome! Did you design the monagram? I really love it! Good Luck with the rest of your planning :yay:

Thanks so much. I did make the monogram, I used a powerpoint like program (I have a mac). I'm not really that good with that sort of thing, so it took me a long time, so now I slap that monogram on everything

Ooh your countdown is so close now! You must be so excited! :cool1:

Thanks Lisa! I can't believe how close it is, we leave for Disney in three weeks from today! Oh that's a great idea, we don't have many kids, but for those families I threw some crayons and coloring books in their welcome bag. I did buy a few extra things for the FG and RB but maybe I'll give it to them earlier in the day rather than just at the reception. Lol, I do have plenty of bags left over so they can have their own little goodie bag for the day.

Thanks so much for the concern. It is doing much better this week so I'm keeping my hopes up. :goodvibes

Everything looks so great! :worship: You must be getting so excited!!!!!

Thanks so much! I am pretty crafty, it's a shame that in real life I never get to do anything with my talents, I have about the most uncreative job there is! I think if you gave it a shot you might be surprised by your own talents, start with something simple and then see how it goes ;). I am getting so excited, we leave for Disney three weeks from today!

Sara, everything looks great! look the cds and tears of joy packets. very cute! you are getting so close try to enjoy these last couple weeks!:goodvibes

The countdown has begun chica! Can you believe it's almost your wedding month? :woohoo: Your guests will really appreciate the bags and the work you put in to them. Hope you are enjoying these last few weeks and finishing up all the loose ends! :goodvibes

The CD looks awesome...you have some of the same music we had played by our guitarist! I love all the stuff for your welcome bags...the "bare necessities" is really cute!

I really can't believe it, we'll be in Disney in three weeks! I know these last few weeks will just fly by! Thanks, I really hope so after we lug them down there, lol. I still have a bunch to do, but I should be able to get it all done. :goodvibes

Thanks! That's awesome, I bet it sounded great on the guitar. The tags were really easy to make, and Koda is my favorite bear, I got a stuffed Koda from WL the first time DF and I went to Disney and we even convinced my parents to name their cat Koda.

I can't believe in three weeks we'll be in Disney! It's so crazy to me how quickly time has passed.

Lee sent me pictures of the mock-ups he did. It was great to get an idea of the look of the centerpieces.

We'll be changing them slightly, I love the colors and the flowers but I'm not crazy about the candles. Since Disney won't let me use real candles he had to put the battery operated ones in the arrangement instead and I feel like they stand out a little too much. So Lee is going to add some more hydrangeas and some greenery to make it fuller and will remove the candles. I actually like greenery in arrangements because I think it adds more texture.

And arms will just be tucked into the arrangement more like this:

I'm really upset that Disney won't let me have real candles because I think it would have looked great with tapers or the chalice votives... but rules are rules...

I finally got my veil after almost two months and I love it! It is really sparkly and pretty. You can kinda see the detail in these shots and I put on my headband and earrings.

And after searching pretty much every listing on etsy I finally made a decision about a ring bearer pillow. I considered lots of options, from ring dishes to bird's nests but here's what we'll have:

Sara! Sorry I haven't posted on here in ages - I've been a bit AWOL!

Everything looks so wonderful and I love all your crafty stuff :) It's SO close now!

I love your centrepieces! They are so elegant and pretty! From the pictures, the flameless candles look fine, but I can see why you would be concerned. But I am sure you will find something that works!

Oh I love how the center pieces look. I see what you mean about the candles being really over powering. I think that the new way will look beautiful.

I love your veil! its so pretty. Love the sparkles.
Great choice with the ring bearer pillow. its really different.

just caught up with everything! Your rings are gorgeous, LOVE the CD favors and the mock up centerpieces will look amazing! It's getting so close, I'm sure you're really excited! :cutie:

Thanks Hayley! Lol, yeah things do seem to be crazy right before a wedding. I know, can you believe it? And it's even closer for you Soon to be Mrs! :goodvibes

Thanks so much! Lee is going to put in a few more hydrangeas and add some greenery to fill it out. If he had smaller candles I would have liked them, I think these ones are just a little too big.

Thanks Jenn! Yeah, they just seem to steal all the attention...and not in a good way . Thanks, I really love it too, and I didn't think I was a veil person but I may wear it for longer than the ceremony now. I can't wait to get it, hopefully soon and afterwards we can use it as a throw pillow.

Thanks so much Wendy! Only two and a half weeks to go! And only about two weeks until we're in Disney!

Wow, the mock-up looks great, very elegant :thumbsup2

Thanks Annie! I really love the candelabra look, and now we're doing all high centerpieces since we'll use them at the ceremony too, on staggered height stands. Apparently DF didn't like aisle swagging.

I think that was a good call on the centrepieces.

Thanks Claire! I really wish it had worked out with the candles but I think they will look beautiful as just flowers. I can't wait to see them!

So yesterday I had my final fitting and got to see my dress with all the accessories. Everything went together great and even the seamstress was asking me where I got everything!

I didn't get many pictures, but I did get a few, and pretty soon I'll have tons of pictures. :goodvibes

Here is my dress hanging in the dressing room:

She had kind of laced me up way too tight. So on the wedding day it will need to be somewhere in between. It did give my waist a really nice look, but I had a little trouble sitting, lol. So I think I'd go for a little more comfort, and I kind of like the look of a slightly larger V in the corset.

And of my problem foot, so far so good...
IMG_1233.jpg

I went to my old dr this week after my foot swelled up again from a bug bite, and he now has me on an arsenal of meds, but he promises that I will be able to wear my glass slippers since he knows how important the shoes are to the ladies :goodvibes. He's really so sweet. But it all seems to be going well and I was able to wear my shoes for the fitting.

I also got to see my MOH's dress on her, I didn't take any pics since they were pinning her and then I had to get into my dress, but I love the color and everything and I think it will look great!

yay! You look so so pretty hun! it fits you great. I'm so happy everything went well and you can wear your shoes! (i love them btw) before you know it you will be wearing it on your big day! :)
