Sanaa Dessert: Chai Cream Vs. Dessert Sampler?

Just curious which you prefer: The Chai Cream or the Dessert Sampler?

I know that the Sampler has a small cup of the Chai Cream but I'm wondering is it big enough or should the full size be ordered???

How big is the portion in the Sampler vs the Chai Cream dessert?

The sampler size is probably 1/3 the regular size if I were guessing. I would definitely go with the full size, but I have dreams about that chai cream It's my favorite dessert anywhere. I couldn't care less about the other stuff on the sampler.

The chai cream was also my favorite dessert on the sampler, compared to the passion fruit kulfi and chocolate cake. I'd rather get the full portion.

I thought the chai cream was disgusting. It tasted like decorative soap. DS said it tasted like candles. It had a definite "perfume" taste to it when we tried it last summer. I had the sampler and only took one bite of the chai cream. DS also only took one bite, just to see what was so bad about it. DH finished it up and he didn't really have much to say, but he isn't very particular about things.

I guess it depends on how much you like chai. I love it from some coffee shops but not others as it is too strong, too flowery or too sweet.

If we ever get the chance to try Sanaa I think I would go with the sampler and if I loved the chai just order another one

I thought it really tasted like an Indian dessert - the cardamom flavor was delicious, and it had a nice texture.

Ok I think i'm going for the full size. I love Chai, I get Chai Latte's from starbucks and I've had Chai Pudding before that was amazing! I can't get enough chai! Sounds like the best idea for me!

Yeah, seriously, this is an important question because its been on my mind for quite some time! I LOVE Chai and Indian flavours in general, so I'm 100% going for the full size. We are on the dining plan, so if its real good, I'll pay for another to take home!

Go for the full size My DH got the sampler last time and it was a small portion and I'm still dreaming of it. It was one of the best desserts we've had at WDW and a nice change of pace from the usual ice cream/creme brulees (hey, I like ice cream and creme brules too, don't flame).

Not to burst your bubble, but I noticed your screen name is VeganRazzleDazzle so I feel like I should point out that the Chai Cream has gelatin in it.

But to answer the question...
I've had the dessert sampler a few times. But the cake is mediocre at best, so I sub one of the other items for it. This way I end up with 2 Chai Creams and 1 Kulfi, or vice versa.

The Chai Cream and the Passion Fruit Kulfi are amazing! I don't know how big the Chai Cream only dessert is, but the one in the sampler is in a small espresso cup - maybe 1/4 cup? It doesn't sound like much, but it has a very heavy and filling texture and feel.
