San Angel Inn

IS the food there spicy? I'm trying to get an ADR for 8/26. My plan was to be at AK in the day and dinner at Rose and Crown. But their menu changed and I don't care for it now. I tried WCC, LE Cellier and all were booked. I hough we could try San Angel INN but we don't like very spicy food. I see they have shrimp on the menu so my DH would be happy.

Hi Angela,
I don't recall really spicy food but I do know that last year, we had an ADR and then I realized that my childs choice was not on the dinner menu (a taco) and I asked at the podium if we could get one for dinner for him. NOPE, so we left, which is okay. But they made it sound like I asked for s foreign food that took much prep time LOL
It was during free dining and walking in somewhere without another ADR was not easy. We wound up back at POR and they got us in after a short wait.

If you are at all questioning the menu, be sure you know what you do and don't want then don't chance it. Somewhere on these boards is a link to all the menu's. Perhaps you can find or someone can get you there and can also tell you their experience. We ate there twice before and I really don't remember SPICY as an issue though. Good Luck!
